Transfer Deadline - 18:30 – Friday, 30 April
Thomas Tuchel’s frugal Chelsea defence has been ideal for plenty of FPL managers since his arrival in the Premier League.
Star Signing – Edouard Mendy (£5.2)
Chelsea’s impressive defensive record under Thomas Tuchel puts Edouard Mendy high up on our list of goalkeepers.
We have seen Kepa Arrizabalaga feature a couple of times recently, but Mendy is still the Blues' first-choice stopper.
Bargain Buy – Sam Johnstone (£4.5)
West Brom have had an upturn in form in recent weeks, with goalkeeper Sam Johnstone picking up some decent points in FPL.
The Baggies face Wolves this week but have a tricky last few games so this could be just a quick fix in goal.
As mentioned above, Chelsea’s defence is looking strong right now so you can’t go wrong with one of the boys from Stamford Bridge.
Star Signing – Timothy Castagne (£5.8)
Leicester face Southampton and Newcastle next and will be looking to strengthen their grip on a Champions League place.
Belgian defender Timothy Castagne could play a key role in their final few games having picked up 20 points in his last two matches.
Bargain Buy – Stuart Dallas (£5.2)
If you don’t already have Stuart Dallas in your squad, why not?
Leeds United’s utility star plays predominantly in midfield for Marcelo Bielsa and has racked up more points than any other defender this season.
After disappointment in the Carabao Cup final, Spurs could take out their frustration on bottom club Sheffield United this week.
Star Signing – Heung-Min Son (£9.5)
We think Spurs could be set free under Ryan Mason this week, so we could see some big points for the likes of Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.
Son has scored twice in his last three matches and could add to that tally against already relegated Sheffield United.
Bargain Buy – Matheus Pereira (£5.5)
With 42 points from his last four games, Matheus Pereira is the most in-form midfielder available in FPL.
West Brom face Wolves this weekend before a tricky run-in, so it could be a last massive point haul for the tricky Brazilian.
You just can’t ignore Harry Kane this week as the England captain comes up against a Sheffield side destined for Championship football next season.
Star Signing – Harry Kane (£11.8)
Only Bruno Fernandes has picked up more FPL points than Harry Kane this season.
Kane picked up nine points last time against the Blades and we expect him to be on the scoresheet once again.
Bargain Buy – Kelechi Iheanacho (£6.2)
With nine goals in his last seven games, Kelechi Iheanacho’s fine form is showing no signs of slowing down.
The Nigerian’s price has been shooting up as more managers are bringing him into their side, with nearly a quarter of managers selecting him already.
