We have been building towards this game week for a while, and injuries have certainly thrown an extra spanner in the works ahead of GW29 on FPL.
All four games this week are tough to call, so team selection could end up a bit of a lottery.
This looks like the perfect week to play your ‘free-hit’ if you still have it. Check out our GW29 tips below.
Friday, 19 March
Fulham v Leeds
Saturday, 20 March
Brighton v Newcastle
Sunday, 21 March
West Ham v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Spurs
Transfer Deadline - 18:30 - Friday, 19 March
It is a tough week for goalkeepers, but the bottom end of the table could be the way to go this week.
Star Signing – Emiliano Martinez (£5.4m)
Over 40% of us have Emiliano Martinez in our teams. Martinez is well ahead of any other keeper in terms of points, so why not gamble on the Aston Villa stopper?
Spurs have hit some form in recent weeks, but we are backing Martinez to pick up at east 3 points this week.
Bargain Buy – Alphonse Areola (£4.5m)
Fulham’s defensive record is much better than their league position suggests, and they have kept three clean sheets in their last five games.
At just £4.5m, Areola could be a solid option in the weeks to come.
Our backing of Brighton last week paid off with Lewis Dunk scoring against Southampton. We are going for The Seagulls again this week as we think they will pick up at least a point in their clash with Newcastle.
Star Signing – Aaron Cresswell (£5.9m)
Aaron Cresswell has registered two 12-point weeks in the last five matches, strengthening his position at the top of the FPL defenders’ charts.
West Ham host Arsenal at the London Stadium and set pieces could prove crucial for The Irons.
Bargain Buy – Joel Veltman (£4.3m)
Another three points this week would go a long way in Brighton’s push for Premier League survival.
Lewis Dunk remains a good option at the back, but Joel Veltman can offer great value too at just £4.3m.
The injury to Heung-Min Son in the North London derby has messed up our plans in GW29, but there are still some strong options.
Star Signing – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.4m)
Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should have learnt his lesson from the weekend and will be looking to re-establish himself in the line-up against West Ham.
Aubameyang has not had his most prolific season with just ten goal involvements, but his 20 point haul against Leeds shows he can still be a great investment.
Bargain Buy – Tomas Soucek (£5.3m)
Czech Republic midfielder has been one of the signings of the season for West Ham, and at £5.3m he is a bargain on FPL.
Soucek is in a dry spell at the moment, but we are backing him to get back on the scoresheet against Arsenal.
With Callum Wilson out and Patrick Bamford doubtful, Harry Kane has to be your man up front.
Star Signing – Harry Kane (£11.4m)
Kane may have blanked last week, but with such limited fixtures this week he is the obvious choice to lead your line.
Kane’s 19-point haul in GW27 is enough for us to back him as our captain this week too.
Bargain Buy – Josh Maja (£5.5m)
Fulham will need Josh Maja to start finding the net regularly if they are to steer clear of the relegation zone.
Since his double against Everton, Maja has gone six games without a goal. We are backing him this week against an expansive Leeds side.
