FPL GW28 looks a difficult one to manage with several games between in-form teams.
Once again, we have one eye on that horrible GW29. Just eight teams are playing meaning it could be a low scoring affair, so make sure to have as many players playing as possible.
With that in mind, check out our top tips for GW28 below.
Make sure you have one goalkeeper ready to play in GW29. If you do, great. If not, take a look at the two keepers below we recommend for the upcoming fixtures.
Star Signing – Emiliano Martinez (£5.4m)
Up £0.1m from last week, Emiliano Martinez is our pick once more. Aston Villa visit Newcastle in GW28 so there are points to be had for the Argentine.
Selected in over 40% of teams already, Martinez is a solid pick for this week and he is also one of the few playing next week too.
Bargain Buy – Robert Sanchez (£4.5m)
Brighton’s defensive record is not as bad as their league position would suggest, and with games against Southampton and Newcastle coming up, Robert Sanchez could be a shrewd purchase.
Sanchez features in just 3% of teams on FPL, which means he could be a valuable differential over the next two weeks.
This was a tough decision with some unpredictable games this week, but we have gone once again backed Aston Villa and Brighton.
It is worth noting that Man City, Leicester and Everton all face teams that are struggling to find the net, so keep those defenders in too.
Star Signing – Matt Targett (£5.0m)
An absolute steal at £5.0m, Matt Targett is the league’s fifth highest scoring defender on FPL this season.
For anyone counting, his 112 points ranks him above Joao Cancelo, Andrew Robertson and Luke Shaw. Not bad.
Bargain Buy – Lewis Dunk (£4.9m)
Brighton were right to feel hard done by last week after Lewis Dunk’s free kick was chalked off, but we think their fortunes will change in the South Coast derby against Southampton.
They have a huge relegation battle against Newcastle in GW29 too, and we fancy the Seagulls to take at least four points over the next two games.
Man City got back on track with a 5-2 hammering of Southampton, and midfielders Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan remain strong options for your team.
Star Signing – Youri Tielemans (£6.4m)
Focused solely on GW28, Belgian maestro Youri Tielemans looks set to run the show as Leicester host struggling Sheffield United.
Without Harvey Barnes and James Maddison, The Foxes will be relying on Tielemans to pull the strings this weekend.
Bargain Buy – Raphinha (£5.5m)
Leeds winger Raphinha has been a revelation since his summer move from Rennes, and it is no wonder some of the leagues bigger clubs are sniffing around him.
Costing just £5.5m, Raphinha could go big against Fulham in GW29, bit faces a tough assignment against Chelsea in GW 28.
Both our forward picks this week have games in GW29 and performed well in the GW28 reverse fixtures.
Star Signing – Harry Kane (£11.3m)
Kudos to those of you who selected Harry Kane last week, and even more so if you captained him for 38 points.
He is once again our star striker, especially given his excellent record against Arsenal. If you are feeling brave, it might be worth captaining the England man too.
Bargain Buy – Ollie Watkins (£6.6m)
We see a big haul coming for Ollie Watkins soon, and he seems to score in bursts.
Watkins has racked up the sixth most points for any FPL forward, so we don’t see his five-match goal drought lasting much longer.
