FPL: Double GW28 CONFIRMED & best assets to target from each team

The Fantasy Premier League GW26 deadline is approaching fast, but, we are looking ahead to yet another confirmed set of Double Gameweek fixtures.

So, check out which Premier League teams have a Double Gameweek in GW28 and the best assets to target in FPL here.

Double GW28 Teams

The following Premier League teams will have a Double Gameweek in GW28:

• Southampton: Aston Villa (A), Newcastle (H)
• Newcastle: Brighton (H), Southampton (A)
• Watford: Arsenal (H), Wolves (A)
• Wolves: Crystal Palace (H), Watford (A)
• Leeds: Leicester (A), Aston Villa (A)
• Aston Villa: Southampton (H), Leeds (A)

Now we need to take a look at the Double GW fixtures in more detail and which FPL assets to target ahead of time.

Southampton

Southampton has one of the nicest set of fixtures of the lot, facing Aston Villa on the road before hosting Newcastle.

Armando Broja (£5.4m)

On-loan Chelsea striker Armando Broja is by far and away the best value-for-money option from Southampton, at just £5.4m.

You may also want to go for the set-piece specialist James Ward-Prowse (£6.4m).

Wolves

Wolves come up against Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace before travelling to face struggling Watford in GW28.

Raul Jimenez (£7.4m)

Mexican forward Raul Jimenez found the back of the net with a superb volley in Gameweek 25 against Spurs and is Wolves' most threatening player in attack.

If you are looking for a Wolves defender Conor Coady (£4.7m) and Max Kilman (£4.7m) both provide good value for money.

Leeds

Leeds Utd have two away fixtures in DGW28, with Bielsa's men facing Leicester and Aston Villa.

Raphinha (£6.5m)

You never quite know what you're going to get from Leeds, but the one constant is Brazillian winger Raphinha who always shows his class.

If you are looking for a cheaper option in midfield then Dan James (£6.0m) and Jack Harrison (£5.5m) are both viable options too.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa's Double GW28 fixtures are arguably the best of the lot, with Steven Gerrard's side facing Southampton at home before travelling to Leeds.

Philippe Coutinho (£7.3m)

January signing Philippe Coutinho is a great asset to target for DGW28. The Brazillian has totalled 27 points over the course of his first four gameweeks in a Villa shirt.

Jacob Ramsey (£4.8m) has made himself a regular starter in the current team and is great value for money in Fantasy.

Lucas Digne (£5.1m) is on set-pice duty and could haul in Double Gameweek 28.
