The Fantasy Premier League GW24 deadline is approaching fast, but, we are looking ahead to a confirmed set of Double Gameweek fixtures.
So, check out which Premier League teams have a Double Gameweek in GW26 and the best assets to target in FPL here.
Double GW26 Teams
The following Premier League teams will have a Double Gameweek in GW26:
- Liverpool: Norwich (H), Leeds Utd (H)
- Arsenal: Brentford (H), Wolves (H)
- Watford: Aston Villa (A), Crystal Palace (H)
- Burnley: Brighton (A), Tottenham (H)
- Crystal Palace: Chelsea (H), Watford (A)
- Tottenham: Man City (A), Burnley (A)
- Wolves: Leicester (H), Arsenal (A)
- Leeds: Man United (H), Liverpool (A)
Now we need to take a look at the Double GW fixtures in more detail and which FPL assets to target ahead of time.
Liverpool, no doubt has one of the most enticing Double Gameweeks of the season in GW26, as they host Norwich and Leeds at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah (£12.7m)
Of course, Mohamed Salah is the standout option as far as Liverpool players go and will be looking to haul in both matches in the DGW.
This could be a great opportunity to use the Tripple Captain chip, although some FPL managers may be put off by the Egyptian's recent exertions in the AFCON.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5m)
If you are looking for a differential captaincy option for DGW26 then Trent is your man. Liverpool could well pick up two clean sheets whilst the right-back will hope to claim an assist or two and get in on the bonus points too.
Other Liverpool assets to target include Andrew Robertson (£7.1m) and Diogo Jota (£8.4m).
Arsenal is the only other team that has two home fixtures in GW26, which makes them a hot prospect.
Kieran Tierney (£5.1m)
Scottish left-back Kieran Tierney has been in fine form recently and has tallied up 58 points over the course of the past seven gameweeks, averaging over 8 points per game in that time period.
Although clean sheets are not guaranteed at the Emirates, Arsenal have been especially good in defence at their home ground.
Bukayo Saka (£6.4m)
Arsenal has an abundance of good mid-low price FPL options in midfield, including the likes of Gabriel Martinelli (£5.4m), Emile Smith Rowe (£5.9m) and Martin Odegaard (£5.6m).
However, we believe Saka is the standout option as he often leads the Gunners attack in terms of chance creation and is always the first name of Mikel Arteta's teamsheet.
The usual Watford suspects are on our list for the upcoming Double Gameweek.
Joshua King (£5.9m)
Josh King and Emmanuel Dennis (£6.2) are the standout options as we head into the Hornet's second Double Gameweek of the season.
You may also consider goalkeeper Ben Foster (£4.1m) who we expect will be the first choice 'keeper under new boss Roy Hodgson.
Burnley assets have never been so eagerly watched than this season.
Maxwel Cornet (£5.9m)
French summer signing Cornet has struggled with injuries over the past few weeks but has looked brilliant when he has featured and is definitely one to target for DGW26.
New star striker Wout Weghorst (£6.5m) could also be worth a punt, although we do not know how the number nine will adapt to life in the Premier League just yet.
The Eagles have a tough home fixture against Chelsea and then travel to face struggling Watford in their second match.
Odsonne Edouard (£6.5m)
Edouard already has an amazing six goals and four assists to his name in the Premier League this season and is available for just £6.5m in FPL.
Micheal Olise (£5.4m) always manages to get Palace fans off of their seats and is one to consider if you are after a cheap midfielder in DGW26.
Spurs face Champions Manchester City at the Etihad before travelling to Burnley for their second consecutive away fixture of GW26.
Heung-Min Son (£10.6m)
Winger Heung-Min Son should hopefully be fully fit by the time GW26 rolls around and will be back on the pitch with his partner in crime, Harry Kane (£12.3m).
You may also want to target a budget Spurs defender, with Eric Dier (£4.6m) and Ben Davies (£4.5m) now regulars in Antonio Conte's side.
Wolves face two inconsistent sides in Leicester and Arsenal in DGW26.
Raul Jimenez (£7.4m)
Mexican striker Raul Jimenez is a quality option and provides good value for money at £7.4m.
Rayan Ait Nouri (£4.3m) is another brilliant value for money option as he provides the potential for clean sheet points and attacking returns.
Leeds have the toughest Double Gameweek fixtures of the lot.
We'd steer clear of any Leeds players for their GW26 fixtures against Manchester United and Liverpool.
However, if you do want to back a Leeds player then Brazillian winger Raphinha is definitely your best bet.
