It's been a dry month for Fortnite news after the big launch of Chapter 3 and Winterfest bringing us Spider-Man content in December. Fortunately, it looks like the first major news of 2022 has dropped courtesy of @Shpeshal_Nick, the Co-Founder of XboxEra.com.

It looks like Epic Games may have signed a deal with a major production company to start bringing some of their hugely popular IPs into Fortnite!

TNMT Coming to Fortnite?

It looks like Epic Games may have signed a deal with Paramount Pictures to bring some of their iconic IPs into Fortnite. According to @Shpeshal_Nick, the deal has been struck and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been specifically mentioned as a property that could be heading to the Flipside soon.

This would be more great news for Fortnite as a game, further proving that its pulling power hasn't waned and they can still attract major partnerships going forward. Coming hot off the back of the Spider-Man: No Way Home deal, this Paramount agreement could provide endless content for players to enjoy.

Paramount IP Possibilities

Looking at some of the IPs that Paramount has to play with, it makes for some real dream collaboration scenarios. First and foremost would be Transformers which would certainly appear to gamers of a slightly older classification.

If they wanted to think outside of the box, Paramount still owns the rights to the Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield franchise but that would be something for Fortnitemares 2022!

Another stand out property would be SpongeBob SquarePants but it's hard to see how they would get this to translate into anything other than perhaps a Creative deal. Finally, another IP that's already seen some action in Fortnite is G.I Joe so we can see this partnership going a step further.
