Fortnite World Cup 2020: Mongraal Player Profile - Is he competing?


Few could've predicted the rise of Fortnite, or the success of the 2019 Fornite World Cup.

In fact, last years event, which took place in New York City at the infamous Arthur Ashe Stadium - was probably the biggest gaming event of the year. Not bad for a free-to-play title.

So what about this years World Cup? Well, whilst there is almost certainly going to be a Fortnite World Cup this year, Epic Games have yet to reveal any exact details about the event.

Here's a look at one man who will undoubtedly be making an appearance at the to-be-confirmed event, the self proclaimed 'King of Fortnite', Mongraal.

Who is Mongraal?

HOW OLD?! Mongraal is just 15 years old - the youngest Faze member.

Mongraal - or Kyle Jackson as he is otherwise known - is a member of the American esports team Faze Clan.

At just 15-years-old, Mongraal is the youngest of the Faze Clan members and will be looking to make a big impact at his the Fortnite World Cup this year.

His YouTube following currently stands at over two million subs, whilst he also regularly streams on Twitch.

History of Competitive Gaming

Despite still being a teenager, Mongraal has quite the history in the competitive Fortnite scene.

He has partaken in 29 tournaments to date, with an impressive 48.3% of those tournaments - 14 wins to be exact.

The former Team Secret player has gone from strength to strength since joining Faze Clan, could this be his year?

Mongraal performed admirably in last years tournament, finishing in 13th place overall.

The impressive showing saw him pocket a whopping $150,000, which makes up a specific portion of his $567,454.22 career earnings to date.

The logical next step is to break into the top 10, but we doubt that will be enough for the ambitious teenager, he will be going out all guns blazing for that World Cup crown.
