It's Official!

It looks like we finally have confirmation - of sorts - that Naruto will be arriving in Fortnite on Tuesday, 16th November. Fortnite has now confirmed this with a teasing tweet late on 10th November.

His files are set to be decrypted during Update 18.40 and he will be available later that same day.

Encrypted Files

The Naruto skin is believed to already be in the Fortnite game files under the codename 'HeadbandS'. There is also a 'HeadbandK' codename which could be an alternate style or cosmetics attached to a bundle.

We do have an update on how Naruto may appear in-game as @HYPEX believes he will appear as an in-game Boss. This could mean that there is an event built around beating him before he is available to purchase in the item store.

It also suggests that he is unlikely to appear as an NPC (this season at least). After these latest revelations, a Mythic Kunai was found as a weapon that will be usable in-game. Its stats have been revealed but it does not have a damage value attached to it just yet.

Finally, a Ninja Scroll and Ramen cosmetics were added during Fortnite Update 18.30 and are strongly believed to be attached to the Naruto collaboration. Unfortunately, we are going to be left in limbo until Epic themselves are ready to reveal more.

With around 6 weeks left in Season 8, there's plenty of time for Naruto to show, there may just be too much going on at the minute to justify adding him when more important story content is unravelling.
