A very simple quest to kick off this week. Find a shield keg, throw it at the feet of your party and start dancing while you increase your defences to get an easy 15,000XP.

Deal Damage to Opponents While Riding a Wolf or Boar 0/500

While this quest is pretty self-explanatory, completing it may take a couple of games if you don't find yourself with a very good vantage point and long-distance rifle. Aiming while moving on a wolf or boar is challenging so racking up 500 damage in a single game is pretty unlikely so just keep this one in the back of your mind.

While reality pods can now be found more frequently across the map, the best place to find them still remains to be the Reality Falls location. This area is usually quite the hot drop, with a lot of players heading there so don't be too surprised if grabbing one of the seeds takes a few tries as players try to stack up their eliminations.

Now that you have gotten your seed from the previous quest, what better way to use it than to plant it for another easy 15,000XP? To complete this, simply stand on a ledge and throw the seed as far out as you possibly can, waiting for it to land and plant itself into the ground.

Open Chests at Tilted Towers in a Single Match 0/3

Perhaps the most challenging of the Fortnite Week 9 Quests is this one which requires you to open up three chests in Tilted Towers within the same match.

Due to the popularity and near-central location of Tilted Towers on the map, it is almost always a highly-contested landing that will require a lot of early-game combat. Combine that with the number of people also wanting to complete this quest and it might just be best to leave this one for a little while. For the determined player, however, landing on the roof of a building and then working your way down, opening chests as you do so could be your best shot.

Bounce on 3 Separate Crash Pads Without Landing 0/1

This quest is best completed as a trio or a squad. Try to collect as many crash pads as you can together, lay them near each other but not too close and then bounce around them until the quest is completed. This is the most RNG-reliant task among the Fortnite week 9 quests but if you manage to find the pads, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

Sorry to Fortnite players who don't like the Charged SMG but you're going to have to bite the bullet to get this 15,000XP. This quest could be best achieved in duos or above, having one player charge up the SMG before luring an enemy into them to secure the damage.

Another way to get it would be to charge it up and then walk in on other players in the middle of a firefight, spraying them both down to maximise your odds of succeeding.
