Like most Fortnite updates, Update 22.20 will likely arrive on a Tuesday.

Will There be Sever Downtime?

Just like all major Fortnite Updates, there will likely be a period of server downtime, allowing the update to take place without disturbing any online or offline play.

Based on previous updates, Update 22.20 will take place at 1 am PT / 4 am ET / 9 am BST.

We have seen servers go down for one hour all the way up to around four hours.

This is dependent on the size and complexity of the changes, and if there are any issues with the patching process.

What Will Change in Update 22.20?

The first update of Season 4 saw the introduction of the Cobra DMR, and the re-introduction of Grapple Gloves.

Keys are still playing a part for Epic Games, and the new Holo-Chests could be joined by other items that require a key to use.

There have also been rumours of flying vehicles returning, as well as sky-bound animals being brought to the game.

GHOULISH GRIN - New skins are the least we expect this month

Could the next update take things to the skies in a major way?

As already mentioned, we are now in October which means that Halloween is fast-approaching.

We expect skins at the very least, but some Halloween-themed in-game items like a Pumpkin Launcher could be set for a comeback.
