Fortnite Season 8, Week 1 Punchcard Guide

Fortnite Season 8 kicked off this week and there are no signs of things slowing down following last season. Some changes have been made and one of the biggest is around the questing system.

Rather than a weekly set of Legendary and Epic quests we now have punchcards. For more info on how these work, you can check out our guide here.

We're going to take you through everything you need to know about the weekly punchcards and through some of the trickier quests to complete.

Update - NPC Punchcards will NOT reset weekly

Fortnite leaker @iFireMonkey has provided some additional information on the NPC punchcards currently active in Season 8.

While the quests could be updated for each character at some point, they're not going to be regularly updated.

Fortnite Weekly Punchcard Release Time

Things are a little different in week 1, but it appears that the weekly punchcard will update at the same time Legendary quests did last season.

Season 7 ended with a bang, literally

This means that a new weekly punchcard will be available every Wednesday at 15:00 BST / 10:00 EST / 07:00 PST.

Fortnite Week 1 Punchcard

There are three challenges on each weekly and daily punchcard. For week 1 the challenges are;

  • Complete a Daily Punchcard 0/1 - 65,000 XP
  • Place Top 10 with Friends 0/5 - 65,000 XP
  • Spend Bars 0/500 - 65,000 XP

Completing all three challenges can earn you 195,000 XP which was more than was possible with the typical 5/6 Legendary Quests last season.

Tricky Quest Guides

There are some quests you come across from NPCs that can be a bit tricky to complete. The first is how to eliminate IO guards which is part of Charlotte's questline. The IO has gone from being all over the island to being isolated in just a few areas.

You can only have five quests active at one time, but replacing quests is an option

If you're struggling to find any of the NPCs to speak to, we also have a guide with all of their locations in detail. You'll be pleased to know that Slone is still on the island and we have her pinpointed in that guide too!
