Season 7 Release Date

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 will launch on Tuesday, June 8th.

Downtime is expected to begin between 2-4 am EST/7-9 am BST, Epic Games will confirm the exact time this evening.

Battle Pass

As with any new season comes a brand new Battle Pass, filled with over 100 rewards for players to unlock.

So far there haven't been many leaks regarding what we can expect, but we should begin to see skin leaks later today.

We do know that an alien Fishstick skin is expected to be included.

Aliens

Aliens have been making their presence known on the Fortnite island ahead of the start of Season 7.

They have been abducting players mid-match, as well as creating crop circles at Colossal Crops.

The tagline for Season 7 is "They're coming", so we can expect aliens to play a large part in the story throughout the next season.

Futuristic Theme

So far, we have seen the Fortnite Crew Packs match up to the themes of previous Chapter 1 seasons, with December's being similarly themed to Chapter 1 Season 3, January's is similar to Chapter 1 Season 4 etc.

If this pattern is correct, next season will be similar to Chapter 1 Season 9, which was futuristic themed.

The Crew Pack skin for June 2021 is Mecha Team Leader, a futuristic version of Cuddle Team Leader that looks strikingly similar to Singularity, the secret skin from Chapter 1 Season 9.

In the reveal trailer for Mecha Team Leader, we also see some futuristic-looking locations, similar to Neo Tilted from Season 9.

Could the aliens take the Fortnite island to the future?

New Shotgun

The second teaser that was released shows a new weapon that looks like a shotgun.

With the Primal weapons leaving, it is likely that we will see futuristic replacements for each of them as the crafting mechanic will be sticking around for Season 7 too.
