Craft a Mechanical, Explosive, Shockwave Bow in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is well underway now and it is time for the week 2 challenges.

It seems like Epic Games has changed their release dates to Tuesday now, after being Thursday for many years.

So, we've got them early which means levelling up the Battle Pass quicker.

Here is how to complete Craft a Mechanical Bow, a Mechanical Explosive Bow, and a Mechanical Shockwave Bow.

Craft a Mechanical Bow, a Mechanical Explosive Bow, and a Mechanical Shockwave Bow

Bows are a new weapon in Chapter 2 Season 6, replacing Sniper Rifles.

With the new crafting system, Makeshift weapons can be crafted to be either Primal or Mechanical.

Primal weapons are crafted using Bones from hunting wildlife, while Mechanical weapons are crafted using Mechanical Parts from harvesting vehicles.

To craft these three Bows for the challenge, first you need to find a blue rarity Makeshift Bow.

Then also the following items for each bow.

• Mechanical Bow - 4 Mechanical Parts
• Explosive Bow - 6 Grenades
• Shockwave Bow - 2 Shockwave Grenades

So in total you'll need to find three Rare Makeshift Bows, but these don't need to be done in the same match so can be done over time.

Once completed, you will be granted with 24,000 XP to go towards the Battle Pass.

The XP for challenges has been lowered this season, which will make it more of a grind, but plenty of things grant XP such as crafting and hunting wildlife so hopefully it'll even things out and make getting the golden Lara Croft less of a chore.
