Fortnite Season 6 launch stream goes live

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is nearly here, with the 16.00 update going live on Tuesday, March 16th.

Before Season 6 kicks off though, we still need the Season 5 event.

This time it will be part of the Season 6 update and will be mandatory before players can jump into Season 6.

But for those that don't want to wait, it will be premiered on the official Fortnite YouTube channel tomorrow and the time has just been announced.

Zero Crisis Finale

The Season 5 event will be called the Zero Crisis Finale and will see the dramatic conclusion of the Season 5 story, with Agent Jonesy trying to stop the Zero Point from destroying the Fortnite island.

In a series of tweets and blog post, Epic Games announced the event and gave details on what to expect.

"CH2 Season 6 launches on March 16 with the explosive conclusion of the events of Season 5. You'll play through the culmination of Agent Jones' mission in the Zero Crisis Finale. This is a solo experience & you can play through it whenever you first login during the Season."

This event could be the largest we've ever seen in Fortnite, especially with it being tied into the Season 6 update, we can expect it to have huge implications on the future of the game and the inhabitants within it.

Premiere Time Announced

Epic Games has announced that the Zero Crisis Finale event will premiere on their official YouTube channel at 4am EST/8am GMT on Tuesday, March 16th.

This will take place shortly before downtime begins.

But, after downtime ends players will need to go through the event again in-game to actually begin playing Season 6.

This makes it quite pointless to watch the event at 8 am as you will end up watching it twice, but for those that can't wait to see what happens then, it will be worth it.
