Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is finally here and with it comes a lot of changes to the game.
As always with a new season we get a new Battle Pass, new map locations, and a bunch of weapons being unvaulted and vaulted.
Here is every weapon that was vaulted and unvaulted in Fortnite Season 5.
It is always exciting when a new season starts to see which old favourites will be making a return to the game.
But it can also be a sad occasion when our favourite weapons are rotated out and placed in the vault for the time being.
Here is every weapon that was vaulted at the start of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5:
- Burst Assault Rifle
- Epic/Legendary Pump Shotgun
- Legendary Combat Shotgun
- Epic/Legendary Tactical SMG
- Fire Trap
- Scoped Assault Rifle
Many players are sad to see the Epic and Legendary Pump Shotguns leave the game.
They weren't even brought back too long ago, but they are vastly overpowered so it could be a balancing decision that Epic Games have made.
Many players have been reporting that the Scar Assault Rifle has been vaulted.
But we can confirm that the Epic/Legendary Assault Rifle is still in the game.
Here is every weapon that was unvaulted at the start of Season 5:
- Heavy Assault Rifle
- Tactical Assault Rifle
- Tactical Shotgun
- Charge Shotgun
- Double Barrel Shotgun
- P90 (Epic/Legendary)
- SMG (Common-Rare)
- Pistol (Epic/Legendary)
- Storm Scout Rifle
Many players are likely going to be angry to see the Pump Shotgun vaulted and the Charge Shotgun being unvaulted.
The Charge Shotgun is a gun that has a definite love/hate relationship among players.
However, many will be excited to see the Tactical Shotgun make a return.
It is surprising to see the Double Barrel Shotgun make a return, but its never a bad thing to have options.
After getting rid of most SMGs in Season 4, they have now made a return with the regular SMG and Epic/legendary SMG, also known as the P90.
The Storm Scout Rifle was never a fan favourite, but that has made a return, along with Balloons.
Players can expect to pay 950 V-Bucks (£7.50 / $9.50) for the Battle Pass.
Over the course of the current season, you are able to earn enough Vbucks to purchase the Battle Pass for Season 6.
Along with the standard Battle Pass option, there will also be the Battle Pass Bundle option.
Season 5 won't be a themed Battle Pass and will instead go back to original Fortnite characters.
The Battle Pass will feature 7 new characters, including Star Wars' The Mandalorian.
In addition to the Mandalorian, Baby Yoda/The Child will be the back bling for the skin.
This wouldn't be the first time that Epic Games has collaborated with Star Wars.
In December 2019 a Star Wars event was held to promote the release of Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker.
Star Wars is owned by Disney, like Marvel, which is likely the reason for the heavy focus on both the Star Wars and Marvel franchises.
There is also currently an offer where players that purchase V-Bucks in-game will receive 2 free months of Disney+.
Each month players will receive,
- Battle Pass Included for the full Season - As a member of the Fortnite Crew, you’ll always have access to the current season’s Battle Pass!
- 1,000 V-Bucks Each Month - Fortnite Crew members will receive 1,000 V-Bucks every month. Spend it on your favorite Item Shop content!
- Get A New Monthly Crew Pack! - Get an exclusive Fortnite Crew Pack, an always-new Outfit Bundle that only Fortnite Crew members get.
The first Crew Pack skin is called Galaxia and will also include the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe and Fractured World Back Bling.
