Rainbow Royale Gives Fortnite Community a Chance to Celebrate Pride and Inclusion

share to other networks share to twitter share to facebook

Rainbow Royale has gone live in Fortnite today as a limited-time chance to grab some Pride-themed cosmetics in-game. While the freebies are nice, they serve a much higher purpose as promoting diversity and inclusion in gaming is much needed.

A conversation that isn't held nearly as often as it should, the gaming community can be a difficult place to truly express yourself with its tendency to be a toxic environment, especially for those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Kindness costs nothing, and no person should ever feel like they are not accepted within a community they love because of their sexual orientation or gender identification. The next time you see racial, homophobic, transphobic or any kind of abuse in-game, be sure to report it.
