Aliens are set to take over Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is almost over, and with rumours that Season 7 could be the last season of Chapter 2, we're expecting Epic Games to go all out with this next season.

The Foreshadowing Quests have gone live, which sees players find telescopes across the map, as well as find a downed helicopter.

Are we looking for aliens and did the aliens down the helicopter?

It has also been leaked that aliens will be coming to the game and will play a large role in each match, with aliens abducting up to 20 players and teleporting them to a different part of the map.

It hasn't been leaked whether this will take place before the end of Season 6 or will be a new mechanic for Season 7.

HYPEX has revealed that we won't be getting a Season 6 event, but possibly a Season 7 intro event like we saw in Season 6, but will see hints at aliens in the lobby leading up to the new season.

Mecha Team Leader Hints At A Futuristic Season 7

In a blog post, Epic Games revealed more about Mecha Team Leader and the other items that will be included as part of the set.

"Mecha Cuddle Master — made of steel but still snuggly — is the star of June 2021’s Fortnite Crew Pack. In addition to the Mecha Cuddle Master Outfit, this Pack features the sleek Psytronic Bow Back Bling, the fuel-powered Nuzzle Jet Pickaxe, and the decorative Cuddle Mech Wrap. Multiple editions of the Outfit, Back Bling, and Pickaxe were assembled: the pink default Style, the white and black Midnight Style, and the white and red Royale Style."

So far, we have seen the Fortnite Crew Packs match up to the themes of previous Chapter 1 seasons, with December's being similarly themed to Chapter 1 Season 3, January's being similar to Chapter 1 Season 4 etc.

If this pattern is correct, next season will be similar to Chapter 1 Season 9, which was futuristic themed, and surprise surprise... the next Crew Pack skin is futuristic.
