Fortnite is introducing yet another superstar athlete, tennis champion Naomi Osaka, to its Icon Series. Naomi Osaka arrives in Fortnite with some fantastic new skins and the Naomi Osaka Cup, giving players the chance to compete for free skins before they arrive in the store. Latest - Skin Revealed In-Game
As part of the leaks post the release of update 19.40 in game, the Naomi Osaka skins have been fully revealed. You can see what they look like in-game in the tweet down below.
Naomi Osaka skins and cosmetics will arrive in the Fortnite store on Thursday, March 3rd at 7pm EST.
This includes the Naomi Osaka Outfit, Royal Racket Pickaxe, The Queen's Cloudcarriage Glider, and Court Queen alternate style skins.
Before they arrive in the store, however, players have a chance to earn them for free in the Naomi Osaka Cup!
Naomi Osaka Cup: Rewards & Rules
The Naomi Osaka Cup is an upcoming Fortnite tournament open to all players and offers free skins and cosmetics from then tennis champion's Fortnite Icon Series content.
The Naomi Osaka Cup will run for 3 hours, during which players will queue games and placement results will offer Points toward an overall total
Match results will break down to the following point totals:
- Victory Royale: 30 Points
- 2nd: 25 Points
- 3rd: 22 Points
- 4th: 20 Points
- 5th: 19 Points
- 6th: 17 Points
- 7th: 16 Points
- 8th: 15 Points
- 9th: 14 Points
- 10th: 13 Points
- 11th - 15th: 11 Points
- 16th - 20th: 9 Points
- 21st - 25th: 7 Points
- 26th - 30th: 5 Points
- 31st - 35th: 4 Points
- 36th - 40th: 3 Points
- 41st - 50th: 2 Points
- 51st - 75th: 1 Point
On top of this, each Elimination during the Fortnite Naomi Osaka Cup will offer 1 additional Point.
During the tournament, participants can play up to 10 matches, after which results will be finalized.
To participate in the Naomi Osaka Cup, players must be at least Level 50, and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on their accounts.
