How to consume foraged items in Fortnite

The Season 6 Week 7 challenges in Fortnite are thankfully quite easy, but one or two require a little bit of thought.

One of them asks you to 'consume foraged items' three times, but it's not clear what items that's actually referring to.

Below, we've got everything you need to know about what foraged items are in Fortnite and how to get them.

Fortnite Week 7 Challenges

In case you want to try and complete a couple of quests at once, below is the full list of Week 7's Epic Quests.

  • Makeshift weapon eliminations (1)
  • Primal weapon eliminations (1)
  • Mechanical weapon eliminations (1)
  • Mark weapons of different rarity (1)
  • Collect meat or peppers (5)
  • Consume Foraged Items (3)
  • Hunt Raptors (2)

What Are Foraged Items

Since the challenge doesn't, we wanted to clear up what exactly foraged items are in Fortnite.

There is a variety of items you'll find across the map that count as foraged items. Below is a list of them:

  • Corn
  • Cabbages
  • Mushrooms
  • Peppers

Where to Find Foraged Items

Now that you know what they are, you'll need to find them.

Your first option is to find produce boxes at places like burger stops and other stores. Opening them has a chance of giving you these items.

Colossal Crops and the fields nearby are the best places to look for the foraged items. Grab them, add the to your bag, and then eat them.

Once the usage bar has filed up and your character has eaten it, it'll count as one towards completion of the challenge. Just do it three times and you'll the XP reward you're after.
