So that you're up to date with everything that's happening, we've got the low down on the latest Fortnite news for the end of Season 7.
Operation Sky Fire Season 7 Live Event
The main thing that Fortnite players are excited about this week is the Operation Sky Fire Live Event that was fully revealed at the end of last week.
"With the Mothership’s sights set on the Imagined Order’s secret base at Corny Complex, Slone has hatched a plan to end the Invasion once and for all. You’ve answered her calls, worked as an undercover agent for the IO - now it’s time to infiltrate The Last Reality and put a stop to the Alien’s occupation."
You can see the official description of the event above, which is pretty vague, but it tells us that it involves Sloane attempting to end the alien invasion once and for all.
You and up to 16 other people can join up to complete the event as it leads into Season 8.
The Fortnite Operation Sky Fire event will take place at 4 PM ET on Sunday, September 12, so get ready for it this week. I'm sure we'll see some more teases over the next few days.
Fortnite Season 8 Countdown
What the Operation Sky Fire event is leading into is Fortnite Season 8. After how popular Season 7 has been, there's a lot of pressure on what's next.
We still don't know a whole lot about what's coming as part of the new season, or what exactly the theme will be, but we do know when it is set to begin.
Fortnite Season 8 should begin just a few hours after the Operation Sky Fire event, on September 13.
More and more teases for the new season will come this week, so we'll be sure to let you know what's being shown off.
Week 14 Challenges
It is the final week of the season, and it's not clear whether or not there will be any challenges to complete this week.
Since Season 8 is due to begin early next week, there probably won't be any, since you'd only have a few days to complete them, but we'll be sure to let you know.
On Wednesday, we should know if anything is coming in the way of challenges or not.
