GUAVA FORT - The final stage has arrived

It looks like Chimpanski's "Guava Fort" is in its final stage of construction - the minor POI location should now be fully updated in-game with nuclear weaponry prepped and ready to fight against the Cube Queen and her strange pyramid.

You can check out a brief look at the location below:

She might not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. (We hope!)

Also, as the season is ending a day earlier than initially planned, you can get your hands on 225,000 XP as a bonus just for logging in with the Season 8 Battle Pass. This could be the difference between getting Carnage on Page 10 and missing out.

CHAPTER 3 - Chapter 2 Finale & The End

It isn't a lot, but it's something official. Epic Games has shared the following teaser confirming that Chapter 3 Season 1 is going to be the next season of Fortnite - not a Season 9 for Chapter 2.

The finale is coming and it's being marketed as the beginning of The End. A Countdown Clock should appear in-game and be visible through the lobby screen and it's going to be a 16-player event. Fortnite will let everyone queue up to 30 minutes before it's meant to start, though.

“The End” is a one-time only, in-game event. Content creators and players looking to relive the final moments of Fortnite Chapter 2 should take steps to record and archive their experience as replays will not be available. Players will be unable to edit their settings once "The End" begins, so please adjust any visual options to your preferred viewing experience before joining. Because the Season will end a day early, all players who log in before the end of the Season will receive a 225,000 XP reward."

End of Season Event Leaks

There have been a few developments regarding the end of season event with the leak suggesting that it will be interactive, just like Operation: Sky Fire. The difference between an interactive event and a regular one is usually just a few button presses here and there.

Rather than being a bystander to the event, you will play a major role as the story unfolds which is expected to lead to another Black Hole appearance.

Beyond this, there have been some further developments to suggest a building - currently under construction on the map - will play a role too. @TweaBR refers to the building as Guava which is believed to be the codename for the season-ending event. It’s set to reach its third and final stage next Tuesday (30 November), just days before the end of Season 8.

Finally, the details about what will happen during the event are starting to become clearer. It’s set to take place on The Bridge, which is where the Fortnite Imposters mode takes place. This is also believed to be the current location of the Zero Point.

Players will have to battle through four waves of enemies but it’s unknown whether or not this will be done in parties or as a solo player. The Ice Slide mechanics are also present within the event files but we’re unsure how they’ll feature at the time of writing.
