A new set of Fortnite Season 5 Challenges arrive today, bringing with it more things to do and a healthy amount of XP to earn.
For those who don't know, or anyone joining the season late, here's how it works:
Each week players are handed seven Epic quests to complete, as well as one Legendary Quest.
Completing quests will earn players XP, with Epic quests handing out 22,000 XP and the Legendary quest offering a massive 55,000 XP.
Release Time
New challenges on Fortnite go live at 9am EST/2pm GMT every Thursday.
Week 6 Challenges
This season Challenges have become Quests, as the season is focused around destroying things on the map.
Here are the week 6 challenges.
Epic Challenges are worth 20,000 XP each.
- Blow up Fishing Holes at Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands, or Flopper Pond (3)
- Destroy Motorboats (3)
- Blow up Fishing Holes at Lazy Lake Island, Lake Canoe, and near Steamy Stacks (3)
- Catch Fish (7)
- Signal the Coral Buddies (1)
- Destroy Boats (7)
- Destroy Fishing Rod Barrels (7)
Week 6 Legendary Challenges
Here are the leaked Week 5 Legendary Quests:
Legendary Challenges are worth 55,000 XP for the first stage and 22,000 XP for each stage after, with a cosmetic reward if you finish all stages.
- Get Headshots (20, 40, 60, 80, 100)
Destroy Boats
Chapter 2 saw the addition of Motorboats which allow players to travel through all of the water that is on the map.
But, this challenge isn't referring to them, although that is a challenge this week too.
Instead it just means the boats that you find scattered around the map that can be farmed as materials.
There are quite a few of these at Craggy Cliffs, as well as down Lake Canoe.
They can be found elsewhere but these are probably the easiest places to find them.
Destroy 7 and the challenge will complete.
