Today, June 22, is a busy day in the world of Fortnite. Not only has the 17.10 update, the first of Season 7, just released, but a new event, called Cosmic Summer, is set to begin later on.
Cosmic Summer isn't a live event in the traditional sense, like those that end or begin seasons. Instead, it is a week long celebration of the aliens' arrival on the island, complete with challenges to complete and rewards to collect.
Fortnite Cosmic Summer Event Start Time
Epic Games has confirmed that the Cosmic Summer Event celebrations will start at 9am ET/2pm BST on June 22.
However, some of the content has gone live a little early, including the challenges you'll be looking to complete.
Believer Beach Has Disappeared
Shortly after the release of the 17.10 update, Believer Beach has completely disappeared from the Fortnite map.
A bug, presumably to do with the implementation of the Cosmic Summer Event, has seen it not load in for most players.
Epic are working on fixing it now, so it should be back in time for the celebrations. We don't want to be having a party in a place that's disappeared, do we.
Cosmic Summer Event Challenges
Some of the challenges for the Cosmic Summer Event have already gone live in Fortnite, following the 17.10 update.
Not all of them are live quite yet, with some coming in three days time, but below is the list of everything live right now.
