With Season 3 of Fortnite now available across the globe, thousands of players are battling it out to try and secure their next victory royale and climb the ranks of the battle pass.
With every season there must also come change, however, and usually, there are no changes bigger than the ones made to Fortnite's map by Epic. Season 3 continues this trend with some changes and new locations to keep the battle royale island fresh for players. Here are the changes.
Fortnite Season 3 New Locations
There are two new locations for Season 3 of Fortnite, both of which are on the Western side of the map. The first and primary location changed is Reality Falls, the replacement for Season 2's Camp Cuddle location.
What once was a simple campsite location has now become a magical forest with vibrant colours and a whimsical, fairytale-esc quality that stems from the central reality tree. This is the primary place for the new Reality Seeds, an item which you can plant to grow a loot-spawning plant.
The second (and arguably cooler) location changed is what is now known as the Rave Cave which changed from the Imagined Order Command Centre. The place is now a 24/7 nightclub, complete with bass-heavy music and a brand new rollercoaster throughout it.
Stretching above, around and even throughout the Rave Cave location, you have a brand new rollercoaster to be used with the Baller vehicles. While these vehicles can be used off the coaster to travel around the map, it's worth using them on the coaster at least once for the fun of it. They are operating on a battery though so be very careful!
