Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is nearly over and Season 5 is just a few days away.
Before the end of the season there will be the Galactus event on December 1st.
And with a new season comes a whole host of new skins from the Battle Pass and Item Shop.
Here is everything we know so far.
The Secret Skin
Every season Epic has a wide array of skins up for grabs in the Battle Pass.
Season 4 was entirely Marvel themed, with many characters such as Thor, Iron Man, and Wolverine making an appearance.
It appears that Season 5 won't be a themed Battle Pass and will instead go back to original Fortnite characters.
However, much like Chapter 2 Season 2 and 3, there will be a collaborative secret skin.
In Season 2 the secret skin was Deadpool, and in Season 3 it was Aquaman.
In addition to the Mandalorian, Baby Yoda/The Child will be the back bling for the skin.
This wouldn't be the first time that Epic Games has collaborated with Star Wars.
In December 2019 a Star Wars event was held to promote the release of Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker.
Star Wars is owned by Disney, like Marvel, which is likely the reason for the heavy focus on both the Star Wars and Marvel franchises.
There is also currently an offer where players that purchase V-Bucks in-game will receive 2 free months of Disney+.
Each month players will receive,
- Battle Pass Included for the full Season - As a member of the Fortnite Crew, you’ll always have access to the current season’s Battle Pass!
- 1,000 V-Bucks Each Month - Fortnite Crew members will receive 1,000 V-Bucks every month. Spend it on your favorite Item Shop content!
- Get A New Monthly Crew Pack! - Get an exclusive Fortnite Crew Pack, an always-new Outfit Bundle that only Fortnite Crew members get.
The first Crew Pack skin is called Galaxia and will also include the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe and Fractured World Back Bling.
We will be in the world of Season 5 by the end of next week!

The Disney connection lives on
Many believe more Marvel skins could be on the way (see below), but it looks as if we are moving into the Star Wars galaxy.
With plenty of Marvel action on offer on Disney Plus, it looks as if Epic are doubling down on their relationship with the streaming service, with a Mandalorian skin leaked online.
Let's hope this opens the door to more Star Wars themed content, with Baby Yoda a likely favourite with fans.
More Marvel Skins?
Players are currently speculating as to whether the end of Season 4 means the end of the Marvel collaboration for now.
However, SypherPK has theorized that the story won't conclude after the end of season event, and will instead conclude at the end of Season 5.
This means that it is possible that we will see another Marvel, or at least part, themed Battle Pass.
But, many of the main Marvel characters were added in Season 4, such as Thor, Wolverine, and Iron Man.
There are still some remaining such as Spider-Man, Magneto, Cyclops, and the Fantastic Four.
It may be more likely that we will see current Fortnite skins in Marvel style, much like the Deadpool style Team Leader and Raven skins.
With the Season beginning on December 3rd it is likely we will see holiday themed items in Battle Pass, so it would make sense to see some Marvel still in the Battle Pass without being entirely themed.
Rather than adding Spider-Man into the game, we might see a current Fortnite character in a Spider-Man inspired outfit.
Only time will tell but there is a lot of possibilities regarding what Season 5 might look like.
Grefg Icon Series Skin
Back when Ninja was made the first influencer to be given their own skin, it was also revealed that Loserfruit and Grefg would be getting their own skins too.
Loserfruit's did come out a few months ago but Grefg's was never seen.
Recently Lachlan became the next creator to get his own skin, ahead of the already announced Grefg outfit.
During a recent blog post Epic Games said the skin is still planned and will be released soon.
Entering the Icon Series next will be Spanish creator TheGrefg. We look forward to sharing more on TheGrefg shortly before he drops in!
With only a few weeks left of Season 4, and the fact the Lachlan skin has just been released, it is likely we will have to wait until Season 5 to see the Grefg Icon Series outfiy.
A Christmas Themed Battle Pass?
The last time Fortnite had a new season that began over the holiday period was Chapter 1 Season 7.
This was also when the snow biome was added to the map.
Many of the skins, cosmetics, and music were holiday themed.
With Chapter 2 Season 5 beginning on December 3rd it is likely that the Battle Pass will have many holiday themed items in it.
Level 100 skin?
The final skin in every season's battle pass is typically the best skin to come from every season.
Over the past, Epic Games has released some of the best skins of all time as the tier 100 skin.
Classics such as John Wick and Omega are some of the most recognizable skins Fornite has ever seen.
Rewarding the player for grinding all season long to reach the end of the battle pass.
As of now, we have no indication of what kind of tier 100 skin we are going to get yet.
However, if they are anything like past seasons, we are in for a wicked skin!
Seasonal skins have always been a massive part of Fortnite's item shop since the release of the game.
With the upcoming season aligning with the holiday season, we can expect a flurry of Christmas themed skins!
