Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is now over after an epic battle with Galactus!
With a new season comes a new Battle Pass, so here's all we know!
When did Season 4 end?
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 was due to end on Monday, 30 November.
This date was pushed back, but the final showdown with Galactus on Tuesday, 1 December has signalled the end of Season 4.
When Does Season 5 Begin?
It has been confirmed that Season 5 will start on Wednesday, 2 December.
The Crew Pack, the monthly subscription service, will also release alongside the new season.

Season 5 Battle Pass Cost
Similar to every season in the past, players can expect to pay 950 V-Bucks (£7.50 / $9.50) for the Battle Pass.
Crew Pack subscribers will also get the Battle Pass for free as part of their $11.99 subscription.

Along with the standard Battle Pass option, there is also going to be the Battle Pass Bundle option.
The bundle is going to set you back 2,800 Vbucks, and will upgrade you all the way to tier 25 of the Battle Pass.
It has also been confirmed that players will now be able to buy the Battle Bundle tiers at any point while the player is below level 75.
If players decide part way through the season they want the 25 extra levels to get closer to unlocking all of the skins and styles, players can pay the remaining 1850 V-Bucks and purchase it.
Skins
Every season Epic has a wide array of skins up for grabs in the Battle Pass.

Season 4 was entirely Marvel themed, with many characters such as Thor, Iron Man, and Wolverine making an appearance.
It appears that Season 5 won't be a themed Battle Pass and will instead go back to original Fortnite characters.
However, much like Chapter 2 Season 2 and 3, there will be a collaborative secret skin.
In Season 2 the secret skin was Deadpool, and in Season 3 it was Aquaman.
Epic Games accidentally revealed that the Season 4 secret skin will be the Mandalorian from the hit Disney+ show of the same name.

In addition to the Mandalorian, Baby Yoda/The Child will be the back bling for the skin.
This wouldn't be the first time that Epic Games has collaborated with Star Wars.
In December 2019 a Star Wars event was held to promote the release of Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker.
Star Wars is owned by Disney, like Marvel, which is likely the reason for the heavy focus on both the Star Wars and Marvel franchises.
There is also currently an offer where players that purchase V-Bucks in-game will receive 2 free months of Disney+.
The Mandalorian is the flagship show of Disney+ so this could further draw attention to the platform.
Emotes
Perhaps the second most sought after cosmetic item in every Battle Pass is the Emotes.

Players can expect some hilarious dances and other neat emotes with the new battle pass.
Gliders and Pickaxes
In the past we have seen some of the best Pickaxes and Gliders come from the Battle Pass, and we can expect the same this time around.
Leaks and Rumors
In the next couple of weeks we can expect a flurry of new leaks and rumors circulating regarding the new season!
