Fortnite Bhangra Boogie Cup Delayed Due To Android Issues

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has just launched, bringing chaos to the map.

The map is now full of hybrid POIs, such as Salty Towers, as well as the return of part of Greasy Grove, Tomato Town, and Flush Factory.

It was recently leaked that the Bhangra Boogie Cup would be coming to Fortnite, the first official event in Season 5.

This news was later confirmed by Epic Games.

In a blog post they said,

"OnePlus is celebrating their newest device, the OnePlus 8T, and want to invite you to join in the fun! Test your skills in the Bhangra Boogie Cup. All supported Android devices can participate and will have a chance to win the Bhangra Boogie Emote, Click Pow Get Down Lobby Track Featuring Raftaar and the Nana Dance Spray."

Rewards

On offer will be a Spray, the Brangra Boogie emote, a lobby track, and OnePlus devices and earbuds.

The top 3 players in each region will win the new OnePlus 8T phone.

While the top player will also receive the OnePlus Buds.

Here is a breakdown of the prizes:

  • Top 25K Finishers (regional distribution information found below)
• OnePlus 8T Phone

The top 25,000 players will be broken down by region, with the distribution being:

• Europe: Top 10,000
• NA-East: Top 7,000
• NA-West: Top 2,500
• Latin America: Top 2,500
• Asia: Top 1,000
• Middle East: Top 1,000
• Oceania: Top 1,000

Android Users Unable To Log In

Android users have been reporting that they have had trouble getting on the game.

Epic Games have now confirmed that this issue has been fixed.

On Twitter they said, "The error message when launching Fortnite on Android has been resolved."

Once again there is no news on what the actual issue was.

Bhanga Boogie Cup Delayed

Due to the recent issues with Android devices, Epic Games have decided to delay the cup until these are completely resolved.

In the blog post they announced the decision:

"Update: Due to higher than normal crash rates on Android, we’re delaying this tournament until stability is improved. In the meantime, hone your skills in Season 5, and stay tuned for the new date!"

Crew Pack

In a blog post the Crew Pack was officially revealed by Epic Games, after having been leaked recently.

Each month players will receive,

• Battle Pass Included for the full Season - As a member of the Fortnite Crew, you’ll always have access to the current season’s Battle Pass!
• 1,000 V-Bucks Each Month - Fortnite Crew members will receive 1,000 V-Bucks every month. Spend it on your favorite Item Shop content!
• Get A New Monthly Crew Pack! - Get an exclusive Fortnite Crew Pack, an always-new Outfit Bundle that only Fortnite Crew members get.

The first Crew Pack skin is called Galaxia and will also include the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe and Fractured World Back Bling.
