Epic Games' latest hotfix for Fortnite 18.30 has brought back a classic weapon and introduced a new Exotic variant of this firearm to Fortnite Island. Here's everything you need to know about how you can get your hands on the Icy Grappler Exotic and the standard Classic Grappler.
ICY GRAPPLER - How to get this new Exotic?
If you want to get the Icy Grappler Exotic, you're going to need to head to Apres Ski - the POI landmark location directly southwest of Misty Meadows - and purchase it with Gold Bars from Fabio Sparklemane.
" Just like the regular Grappler, shoot its suction cup to fling yourself to a solid surface, but here’s the chilly twist: as you begin flying in the air, the Icy Grappler’s frostiness will freeze your feet, causing you to stay moving when you get to your destination."
The Icy Grappler should help add even more mobility to your attacking manoeuvres and you can expect it to be something you'll want to master going forwards. At the moment, we don't know how many Gold Bars it will cost but expect it to be in line with other Exotic weapons.
CLASSIC GRAPPLER - How to get this returning weapon?
If you're looking for more mobility and you don't want to spend your Gold Bars, you'll be able to get your hands on the Classic Grappler in Chests and Supply Drops - this is being unvaulted for a limited amount of time so use it while you can!
The latest Fortnite hotfix for v18.30 has also extended the Horde Rush LTM and Quest availability past the Fortnitemares event. You can keep playing these until November 9th at the following times:

- 09:00 EST
- 13:00 GMT
The Icy Grappler and the Classic Grappler are currently excluded from competitive playlists in Fortnite.
