Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has been an interesting season so far.
With the addition of Exotic Weapons and Gold Bars, it's really shaken up the meta and how the game is played.
Now it's time to look towards the next update.
Latest News - Overtime Challenges Coming
The Fortnite Twitter account posted a new video showing The Mandalorian looking at a hologram of Fishsticks with the caption "Got a job for you."
The Mandalorian is a bounty hunter, which means that he appears to have a new bounty, which likely means new Overtime Challenges are coming with the next update.
No release date has been announced yet, but we do expect the 15.30 update to arrive either on February 2nd or 3rd.
Epic Games announces the update the day before so we will just have to wait for the announcement.
But following previous patterns, these two dates are the most likely.
Quite often we get a trailer with a new update to showcase any new characters, weapons, map changes, or story progression.
If we get a new trailer in the 15.30 we will add it here.
Back in the day, Epic Games used to release full patch notes with every update, detailing all of the changes that had been made to the game.
Now they don't do that, instead, they send a small number of patch notes to users with a Support-a-creator code.

They also update the Fortnite Trello Board with what has been fixed. It is now up to the community to create their own patch notes.
The only change we know for sure right now is one involving the Fortnite Boundless Skin, as Epic highlighted that “Outfits in the Boundless Set included color combinations that could compromise the competitive integrity of matches."
You'll find more info about this change on the link above, but well be sure to update this page with more info when the 15.30 update lands.
With every update comes a bunch of new skins that are added to the game.
These can vary from Item Shop skins to cosmetics that will be given away for completing challenges.
The 15.30 update will be no exception and we will add them here once the update goes live.
New Weapons and Items
Quite often we see at least one new weapon or item added, even if it's just an unvaulting.
What trick does Epic Games have up it's sleeve this time?
Week 9 Challenges
The Week 9 Challenges will be going live on Thursday January 28th at 9 am EST/2 pm GMT, giving players the chance to level up their Battle Pass and unlock all of the rewards.
Once they go live we will update with them.
