The Premier League is the most exciting league in the world, with it possessing the greatest spread of quality around the league. Anyone can beat anyone in the English top-flight, and it’s certainly a division you need to be considering when looking for world class players on Football Manager 2019.

For a full list of ALL the best Premier League players on FM19, see the table at the end of this page.

Kevin De Bruyne (CA 186 – PA 186)

Age: 26

Position: AM (C), M (RC)

Club: Manchester City

Country: Belgium

Best stats: 19 vision, 18 ambition, 18 professionalism

Value: £80 million

Wage: £230,000 a week

Kevin De Bruyne takes the Premier League top spot, and after his mercurial season last year, you can see why. The Belgian attacking or central midfielder assisted 21 goals and scored 12 himself as Manchester City won both the Premier League and the EFL Cup. The 26-year-old then helped Belgium achieve their best ever result at the World Cup, finishing third in Russia during the summer.

On FM 19, De Bruyne has a 186 current ability score, matching his potential meaning he is at his peak. 19 vision, 18 ambition and 18 professionalism value him at £80 million with wages of £230,000 a week.

David De Gea (CA 180 – PA 183)

Age: 27

Position: GK

Club: Manchester United

Country: Spain

Best stats: 20 reflexes, 19 temperament, 18 agility

Value: £52.5 million

Wage: £200,000 a week

For many, he is the best goalkeeper in the world, but on FM 19, David De Gea is behind Manuel Neuer. The Spaniard kept 18 clean sheets last season, the most in the league, despite making the fifth-most saves with 115. The Manchester United man has been named the clubs’ player of the year four times, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL CUP and Europa League since arriving in 2011.

De Gea holds stats of 20 reflexes, 19 temperament and 18 agility on the game, taking him to a 180 CA. Aged 27, he can still improve to his potential rating of 185, and a value of £52.5 million and £200,000 a week wages gives you a chance of a signing him the near future.

Mohamed Salah (CA 180 – PA 188)

Age: 26

Position: AM (LR), ST

Club: Liverpool

Country: Egypt

Best stats: 18 finishing, 18 pace, 18 acceleration

Value: £52 million

Wage: £200,000 a week

The player of the Premier League season last year, Mohamed Salah’s 32 goals meant he broke the goal scoring record for the amount in a 38-game campaign. The 26-year-old right winger has raced to 51 Liverpool goals in just 66 games, becoming one of the most feared attackers on the planet.

Salah has an 180 CA rating on Football Manager 2019, rising to a potential of 188. The Egyptian’s stats of 18 finishing, 18 pace and 18 acceleration take him to a value of £52 million and wages of £200,000 a week.

Eden Hazard (CA 180 – PA 185)

Age: 27

Position: AM (LRC)

Club: Chelsea

Country: Belgium

Best stats: 20 dribbling, 20 agility, 18 flair

Value: £80 million

Wage: £224,000 a week

Eden Hazard has started the Premier League season brilliantly and looks back to his best under new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri. The Belgian has eight goals and three assists in 11 games so far in the campaign, as the Blues look to persuade the left winger to sign a new contract, which expires at the end of the next season.

20 dribbling, 20 agility and 18 flair take Hazard to a 179 CA, which can still reach a 185 PA. Chelsea’s number 10 is valued at £80 million with wages of £224,000 a week, but keep an eye on his contract situation and potentially make a move at the end of the season.

David Silva (CA 179 – PA 179)

Age: 32

Position: AM (C), M (C)

Club: Manchester City

Country: Spain

Best stats: 19 first touch, 19 flair, 19 balance

Value: £66.6 million

Wage: £160,000 a week

A second Manchester City playmaker, David Silva had one of his best year’s in a City shirt last term, scoring 10 goals and assisting a further 13. The 32-year-old regularly dons the armband for the club these days, and was an influential figure on and off the pitch as they claimed the Premier League title, his third, under Pep Guardiola.

Silva holds stats of 19 first touch, 19 flair and 19 balance on FM 19 this year, which push him to a 179 CA. That is the World Cup winner’s peak, so you will want to be quick to move for the attacking or central midfielder, who is valued at £66.6 million with wages of £160,000 a week.

Sergio Aguero (CA 178 – PA 183)

Age: 30

Position: AM (C), ST

Club: Manchester City

Country: Argentina

Best stats: 19 balance, 18 off the ball, 18 dribbling

Value: £75 million

Wage: £230,000 a week

Sticking with Manchester City, Sergio Aguero has been the key to their rise to a Premier League force. The Argentine’s 208 goals over eight seasons have helped the club lift all three of their Premier League titles, with a European trophy the next target.

Aguero’s 178 CA has fallen from his 183 potential, but there is still plenty of life in the 30-year-old who has stats of 19 balance, 18 off the ball and 18 dribbling. Valued at £75 million, picking up the striker may not be worth it at his age, especially with £230,000 a week wages.

Harry Kane (CA 177 – PA 180)

Age: 24

Position: ST

Club: Tottenham

Country: England

Best stats: 19 finishing, 18 determination, 18 consistency

Value: £75 million

Wage: £200,000 a week

How much longer can Spurs keep hold of Harry Kane? The 24-year-old has been one of the greatest finds in the English game for some time, netting 147 goals for the club, but with no silverware and a World Cup Golden Boot opening up to the world stage, the striker could be lured away in the coming seasons.

Kane’s 19 finishing, 18 determination and 18 consistency help him to a 177 current ability rating, which is very close to his 180 potential. A £75 million value and £200,000 a week wage mean it will be tough to get hold of him anytime soon.

Christian Eriksen (CA 174 – PA 179)

Age: 26

Position: AM (LC), M (C)

Club: Tottenham

Country: Denmark

Best stats: 19 stamina, 19 natural fitness, 19 temperament

Value: £65 million

Wage: £75,000 a week

Kane’s Tottenham teammate Christian Eriksen is one of the finest technical players on the planet, with the Dane picking up 54 assists and 41 goals since arriving in North London. The former Ajax man is somehow only 26, and could step up to the top bracket if he moves to the right club.

Eriksen can improve from a 174 CA to a 179 potential, so his 19 stamina, 19 natural fitness and 19 temperament will receive even greater support. A £65 million value and wages of £75,000 a week make the attacking midfielder a player you can move for immediately.

Paul Pogba (CA 174 – PA 185)

Age: 25

Position: AM (C), M (C)

Club: Manchester United

Country: France

Best stats: 19 technique, 19 flair, 19 ambition

Value: £66.5 million

Wage: £200,000 a week

Paul Pogba can be a frustrating man to watch at times, but we saw during the World Cup exactly what he has in his locker. The 25-year-old has only shown flashes of his quality and looks someway off his £89 million transfer fee to Manchester United from Juventus, but that could be down to the lacklustre play style of manager Jose Mourinho.

World Cup winner Pogba has a 174 CA rating on FM 19, which can rise to a 185 potential. 19 technique, 19 flair and 19 ambition make him worth £66.5 million with a £200,000 a week wage.

Roberto Firmino (CA 172 – PA 175)

Age: 26

Position: AM (LR), ST

Club: Liverpool

Country: Brazil

Best stats: 18 teamwork, 18 work-rate, 18 technique

Value: £67 million

Wage: £180,000 a week

The arrival of Mohamed Salah has benefitted Roberto Firmino enormously, with the Brazilian in the centre of Liverpool’s attacking trio. The arrival of Salah could have taken goals away from the forward, but Firmino bagged 27 last season, 15 more than in the previous season.

18 teamwork, 18 work-rate and 18 technqiue aid Firmino to a 172 CA on FM 19, which is just three away from reaching a 175 potential. The 26-year-old is valued at £67 million with wages of £180,000 a week, which isn’t absurd compared to other talent around.
