FIFA 23 Release Date

There are still a few months to go before FIFA 23 will be released, so we have no official release date, but we still have a good idea of when to expect it.

FIFA 22 was fully launched on Friday, 1 October 2021, so if EA follows the same trend, then Friday, 30 September 2022 could be our FIFA 23 release date.

Some will be able to access the game sooner than that via a possible Beta or Demo, then Early Access and the Web App.

What to Expect

It should be said, this is a reveal trailer only, so EA will still be holding back loads of information.

For the FIFA 22 reveal trailer, they mainly showed off the new HyperMotion Technology, with clips of real players in the Xsens suits to motion capture their movements interspliced with game footage.

We could see something similar this year, with a HyperMotion 2 symbol on the cover showing that their system has had an upgrade.

It all depends on what EA feels is their biggest innovation or best selling point.

Given the inclusion of Sam Kerr in her Chelsea kit for some of the FIFA 23 covers, could we see women's domestic teams revealed for the upcoming game?

EA already confirmed a Women's World Cup mode would be coming to the game, so the roster of female players is already set to expand.

The World Cup game modes could also be teased, however, we think a totally separate trailer is more likely for that, especially as it is leaked to come via DLC as opposed to being in the title from the initial release.
