The Serie B Twitter admin couldn't contain their excitement, with the league confirmed to feature in this year's game for the first time.

The omission of Italian football's second tier certainly lead to some raised eyebrows, but it's now confirmed that the Serie A license is expanding, and rightfully so.

The arrival of Serie B will see the following teams enter FIFA 23:

  • Brescia
  • Cagliari
  • Cittadella
  • Como
  • Cosenza
  • Frosinone
  • Genoa
  • Modena
  • Palermo
  • Parma
  • Perugia
  • Pisa
  • Reggina
  • SPAL
  • Sudtirol
  • Ternana
  • Venezia

Some major numbers are included in the list and you can guide any of them to Serie A glory in this year's game.

Juventus Return

There had been plenty of rumours spreading around, and now EA has officially confirmed it - Juventus will be BACK in FIFA 23!

The Old Lady has been absent from the title for a few years now, with Konami holding the rights to the Italian giants.

This has left us having to use Piemonte Calcio in a generic kit, taking away from the authenticity of the game.

However, now that Juve has returned, so will their iconic black and white strip, as will the mighty Allianz Stadium.
