24-year-old AC Milan centre-back Fikayo Tomori has established himself as one of the most dominant defensive players in Italian football.
In typical Italian defensive style, Tomori is aggressive in the challenge and reads the game as well as the most experienced of centre-halves.
Following an outstanding title-winning campaign last year, Tomori has been handed a GIANT boost and an incredible card in FIFA 23.
With Fikayo Tomori keen to kickstart his career, he took the opportunity to spread his wings and agreed a six-month loan move to the Rossoneri, who wanted an option to buy for an initial £25million.
After Chelsea somewhat recklessly agreed to those terms, the Englishman helped Milan qualify for the Champions League by finishing second in Serie A.
AC Milan confirmed the permanent signing of the centre-back at the end of the loan spell, signing a contract until June 2025.
Since then, AC Milan went on to win their first Serie A title in ten years.
Tomori was a central part of a Milan rear-guard that achieved their best defensive record for a decade, having formed a brilliant partnership with Pierre Kalulu - they conceded two goals in their final 11 league matches.
The defender has won two England caps to date and we expect that total to swell over the next couple of years.
The Ultimate FIFA 23 CB
Given the level at which the English centre-back performed last season, football fans were expecting Tomori to receive a hefty upgrade, and EA has delivered.
Tomori has been handed a +5 upgrade that takes him to an 84 OVR in FIFA 23, which could look somewhat like the image below.
According to various reports, the former Blues defender's new card will boast an astonishing 86 pace, along with brilliant defending and physicality stats.
This makes Tomori one of the most overpowered centre-backs in the game, along with the likes of Real Madrid's Eder Militao.
We expect the England international to be priced at 50,000 to 150,000 at the start of the Ultimate Team game cycle.
