FIFA 23: Darwin Nunez set for MAJOR boost following Liverpool move

FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with the transfer window swinging open in real life and major moves already occurring.

We've already seen Erling Haaland arrive in Manchester, and now another major striker is set for a move to one of Europe's best.

Following a strong season with Benfica, it's time for Darwin Nunez to become a certified star in the Premier League.

Darwin Nunez to Liverpool

Liverpool have wasted no time in securing one of their top targets this summer, with Darwin Nunez set to join Klopp's reds for a deal nearing £100 million.

The deal will see Nunez make the switch from Benfica to Merseyside, hoping to lead the Liverpool line alongside stars such as Luis Diaz and Mo Salah.

Diaz is an example of a top player arriving from the Portuguese top division with a bang, and we're expecting Nunez to do the same.

FIFA 23 Rating

Darwin Nunez has had a sensational year for Benfica, scoring a shed-load of goals and helping his side progress further into the Champions League.

Scoring at Anfield and performing well against the top sides will obviously have persuaded Klopp to get the wallet out, with Nunez rewarded with some suitably high cards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

In FIFA 23, we could see Darwin Nunez receive a huge boost from his base card in FIFA 22, with the Uruguayan forward awarded a 94 OVR Team of the Season card for his domestic efforts.

With that in mind, there's every chance we could see Nunez arrive with a rating anywhere between 84-86 in FIFA 23, with the striker set to arrive in the Premier League with plenty of hype.

That being said, if Nunez stamps his authority and becomes a big hitter in the Premier League, we could be seeing this star reaching a 90 OVR in no time.
