FIFA 23 Best GK Wonderkids: Top young goalkeepers to sign on Career Mode

It's that time of year again when we load up a new Career Mode, because FIFA 23 is here!

Investing in wonderkids is a great way to improve your side in the long term, usually without having to pay a premium price!

With that in mind, here are the best goalkeeper wonderkids available in FIFA 23 Career Mode.

Unlike the other wonderkid categories, where the players have to be a teenager, for GKs we will class them as players 22 years old and under.

This is due to GKs usually developing later in their career than outfield players.

Diogo Costa (OVR 79 - POT 86)

Coming through the Porto academy and now their first choice between the sticks, Diogo Costa is the best wonderkid goalkeeper around.

Not only does he have the highest potential of the group with a possible 86 OVR, but he is also currently the best-rated, sitting on 79 OVR.

Gavin Bazunu (OVR 70 - POT 85)

Starting out at Shamrock Rovers before signing to Manchester City, Gavin Bazunu now plays for Southampton.

He has become their first choice despite only being 20 years old, proving his quality.

Giorgi Mamardashvili (OVR 78 - POT 84)

One of the best-rated under-21s in the game, Giorgi Mamardashvili is another man who has become his side's number 1.

He gained a +4 increase on his FIFA 22 rating, now sitting on a very respectable 78 OVR.

Illan Meslier (OVR 77 - POT 84)

Always kept busy between the sticks for Leeds, Illan Meslier continues to show why he is one of the best young keepers around.

He keeps the same stats in FIFA 23 as the previous title and will be on many Career Mode watchlists.

Maarten Vandevoordt (OVR 70 - POT 84)

Currently at Genk but set to join RB Leipzig in 2024, Maarten Vandevoordt has been a wonderkid for many FIFA titles.

Despite being a regular starter last season he has actually had a drop in rating, however, he could still be a great Career Mode purchase.
