FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

We will also highlight how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

FESTIVE FUN - Get ready for the new promo in the run up to Christmas

Monday

It is that time of the week again for Weekend League players, with rewards available at 2am ET / 7am GMT if you did not complete all your matches.

TOTW12 wasn't the best of releases, but if you get Kinglsey Coman as one of your Red Picks it will have been worth it.

Ciro Immobile would also be a nice choice, although he may not make your starting line-up.

Focus on completing objectives for Versus: Everton and Versus: Tagliafico, as they expire on Thursday, 16 December.

If your opposition plays to the Golden Goal rule then they shouldn't take too long to complete, however, we have been playing against many people who haven't been doing so.

For those that may not know, the Golden Goal rule means if your opponent scores, you forfeit the match. This means that objectives can be completed much quicker, and that can only be helpful for all the FUT community!

We will also see the release of the full Versus: Ice squad, which includes all the same players as the Versus: Fire squad, but with different boosted stats.

Tuesday

Last chance to get Silver Stars Maximilian Wittek, the German LWB playing in the Eredivisie.

He's not on the better end of the Silver Stars we've received, but still worth completing as we don't know who he may link with in future releases.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing.

You can then look to focus back on the Versus player objectives if you haven't yet finished them.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 13 will arrive on Wednesday, 15 December at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

It could be a big one this week, with a possible inclusion for Kylian Mbappe, who scored twice at the weekend, and would gain a 93-rated card!

A new Silver Stars card will also be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Again, this can be completed quickly, so moving back to one of the Squad Foundation or League Player sets would be our next move.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am GMT on Thursday, 16 December.

It's your last chance to complete the Versus objectives players, so make sure you do that and get some free players to your club.

Aside from that, look to hit up the Milestones objectives and complete League Player and Squad Foundations tasks.

We suggested holding off from the Eredivisie Squad Foundations objectives until you hit level 30, where we think the best player pick is Marco van Ginkel.

If you have done that, then now is the time to bring in the other Eredivisie boys, then tackle Squad Foundations Mac-Intosch, where you can use this Eredivisie Football Foundations squad.

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at 4am ET / 9am GMT, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

We could also see a new promo begin, with Winter Wildcard being talked about as the next event.

Word is that it will be a much bigger release than the Versus promo, with players boots, position changes, and daily SBCs.

Saturday

Saturday is all about Weekend League. Unless you haven't entered Weekend League, then your focus can be on whatever promo has just begun!

Pretty much every new promo sees a new objective player released, so get prepped to bring in another free player.

After that, it will be back to the Squad Foundation players as we look to boost our Squad Battles rank before Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am GMT, and they should be decent if you have been completing the Squad Foundations.

If you haven't entered Weekend League you can continue to focus on other game modes and we would try to mix things up so they don't get repetitive.

Live SBCs

There are quite a few Icon cards available at the moment, and we would recommend completing their loan card options, as you can use them infinitely in FUT Friendlies, and they could come in very useful in the future.

To find out all the current Live SBCs, check out our SBC Hub.

Worth completing:

  • Simon Banza - Stats of a 90 OVR ST and will help complete Liga NOS objectives
  • Tahith Chong - Another top player that will help complete Championship objectives
  • Ibrahim Sangare - A beast of a card that will complement your Eredivisie side for 9k
