FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

Team of the Season content continues to roll on, with the La Liga TOTS and Liga NOS TOTS squads now in packs.

The Live FUT Friendly: Bundesliga Cup, with corresponding objectives, is still running, where you can gain packs to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated three matches a day until you've gained all the rewards.

Instead of a new FUT Friendly cup mode and objectives for La Liga, like with previous leagues, the Draft Frenzy objectives have been released, which require playing 28 and winning 27 draft matches to complete.

The rewards aren't spectacular, so don't feel this is something you HAVE to do.

Once again there are a few objective players you can add to your squad for free, with representation from each promo team, and thankfully, you can combine the requirements.

The requirements for TOTS Moments Ansu Fati mean you need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: La Liga Links, so you can't double up with the TOTS Jesus Navas, which need to be completed in Squad Battles or Rivals.

However, you can complete the objectives for TOTS Pablo Sarabia in any FUT game mode, so you will already be working through a couple of the generic tasks and probably scoring with Spanish players, and if you bring on Liga NOS players as substitutes and assist with them you will be working through a couple of others.

You can then combine the Navas and Sarabia 'win X amount of matches' objectives, by fielding a full Spanish side, with at least three La Liga and three Liga NOS starters.

You have until Friday, 27 May to complete the Fati and Navas objectives, and until Sunday, 29 May for the Sarabia ones, so they should be first on your to-do list.

All 25 tokens from TOTS Swaps Set 1 have now been released, with top rewards available, so check out the best reward combinations right here and make sure you have gained all the tokens with our TOTS Token Tracker.

The Icon Swaps 3 Set 1 objectives will expire at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, with Set 2 objectives replacing them instantly.

You will have until Monday, 20 June to complete the tasks, so there is no rush just yet to power through them.

You will want to complete all the Icon Swaps 3 objectives in order to gain the best rewards!

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in the Silver Stars objective player, which is a TOTS Moments Fawaz Al Sagour.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, as free players should never be sniffed at.

Wednesday

During Team of the Season, Weekend League rewards will become available at 3am ET / 8am BST on Wednesdays (instead of Mondays) if you did not complete all your matches.

This is because the schedule has changed, with FUT Champions now open between 4pm ET / 9pm BST on a Friday until 3am ET / 8am BST on a Wednesday, to allow for TOTS promo squads to be included as rewards.

That means, depending on how many points you get, a 96 OVR Vinicius Jr and 98 OVR Karim Benzema are both up for grabs in player picks!

Team of the Week 36 will arrive on Wednesday, 25 May at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, and with the big leagues all coming to an end, it could be the last time we get some elite players.

GOLDEN BOY - Son scooped the Premier League golden boot for the first time in his career

Heung Min Son looks likely to headline the squad with a 92 OVR card, after his brace against relegated Norwich saw Spurs secure Champions League football for next season, and get him the Golden Boot (shared with Mohamed Salah)!

A new Silver Stars card will also be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 19 May, but aside from that, it should be a quiet day for new content.

Get all the objectives players completed, work through Icon Swaps 3 objectives, and qualify for FUT Champions.

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at the new time of 4pm ET / 9pm BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

The La Liga TOTS will rotate out of packs, and we are expecting the Ligue 1 TOTS squad to replace them at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

MAGNIFICENT - Mbappe will surely headline the Ligue 1 TOTS

We should also get another SBC player and possibly a couple of objective players relating to the Ligue 1 squad at the same time.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Other than that, Icon Swaps 3 and player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the Icon Swaps 3 and player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will also be available as Squad Battle rewards throughout the promo but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

BIG HITTERS - We will get some of the best players released on Friday

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League, Icon Swaps and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.

We should get a couple of TOTS squad releases at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, when the delayed Super Lig TOTS and Belgium Pro League TOTS replace the Liga NOS TOTS in packs.

Worth completing:

  • Marcelo Brozovic - A card that is so cheap you will have no problem completing it with fodder in your club, useful for future SBCs
  • Davy Klaassen - If you're in need of a cheap Eredivisie CM he has the stats of an 89-rated player on basic chemistry
  • Karim Benzema - In case you need to get rid of some high rated duplicates, bring in this 94-rated card with them
  • Adebayo Akinfenwa - Great to use in-game and cheap enough to complete
  • Christopher Nkunku - If you can't get his TOTS card, this is the next best thing, and not overly expensive
  • Benjamin Bourigeaud - One of the cheaper ways to bring in an 88-rated player
  • Pedrinho - Again, a cheap way to bring in a 90-rated card, he also has some pretty decent stats
