FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

Weekend League rewards are available at 3am ET / 8am BST if you did not complete all your matches.

Shapeshifters cards are included in the player picks and packs now, as well as the usual Team of the Season options.

The FUTTIES promo has gone into its fifth and final week, with the 'Best Of' Batch 3 now in packs, which means 200 re-released promo players are currently in packs.

The new Live FUT Friendly: FUTTIES France Cup, with corresponding objectives, gives you player picks and packs as rewards to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated 10 matches a day until you've gained all the prizes.

To complete a couple of the Summer Swaps II objectives you will need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: One Nation, which restricts you to play a maximum of four times a day, so again, max out on the games until the objectives are done.

The first set of Summer Swaps objectives will expire on Monday, 15 August, with the second batch leaving on Monday, 22 August, so play all the Squad Battles matches needed to gain as many tokens as possible.

There are once again a few brilliant objective players you can add to your squad for free!

The requirements for FUTTIES Dynamic Duo Jordan Amavi and Steve Mandanda mean you need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: French Frenzy, so you can't double up with the FUTTIES Gelson Martins, which needs to be completed in Squad Battles or Rivals.

The Martins objectives are very generic, so you can complete them whilst doing the Summer Swaps Squad Battles objectives, bringing a Portuguese player off the bench to score and assisting with Ligue 1 players.

You have until Friday, 19 August to complete the Amavi and Mandanda and Martins objectives, so they should be first on your to-do list.

The Summer Swaps 2 campaign continues, with the top rewards out now, so make sure you keep on top of all the token releases with our Summer Swaps 2 Token Tracker.

The SBCs to redeem your swaps against will stay live until Monday, 29 August at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, so there is still time to bring in more tokens.

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in the Silver Stars objective player, which is FUTTIES Kevin Lasagna.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, as free players should never be sniffed at.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 36 was the last TOTW release of this season, so we will have to wait until FIFA 23 to see the regular in-forms release return.

A new Silver Stars card will be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 18 August.

Division Rivals rewards will continue to include Team of the Season and 83+ OVR TOTW players from the whole season in the player pick pool if you finish Elite, due to TOTW no longer coming out.

Aside from that, it will be a quiet day for new content, so get all the objectives players completed, and qualify for FUT Champions if you plan to enter.

Friday

Weekend League will kick off at 3am ET / 8am BST and last until Monday, 22 August at 3am ET / 8am BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

The FUTTIES 'Best Of' Batch 3 players will rotate out at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, so make sure you've opened all your packs to try and hit those promo cards.

With the FUTTIES event ending, we expect to see a FUT 23 Pre-Season promo take over from it, which will bring SBCs and objectives to the game that offer rewards in both FUT 22 and FUT 23!

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Other than that, player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will continue to be available as Squad Battle rewards but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.

Worth completing:

  • Raphael Varane - If you have the players in your club to complete, he could transform your defence
  • Allan Saint-Maximum - Again, he is a bit pricey, but with just a few weeks left of FUT 22 he could be worth it
