FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

FUTTIES has taken over and is bringing us loads of top content, with the 'Best Of' Batch 1 cards being replaced in packs by 'Best Of' Batch 2.

The new Live FUT Friendly: FUTTIES Brazil Cup, with corresponding objectives, gives you player picks and packs as rewards to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated five matches a day until you've gained all the prizes.

There are a few brilliant objective players you can add to your squad for free!

The requirements for FUTTIES Dynamic Duo Matheus Cunha and Renan Lodi mean you need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: LaLiga Flair, so you can't double up with the FUTTIES Tiago Djalo, which needs to be completed in Squad Battles or Rivals.

You have until Friday, 29 July to complete the Cunha and Lodi objectives, and Saturday, 30 July for the Djalo ones, so they should be first on your to-do list.

Today is the last one of the Summer Swaps campaign with the Summer Swaps III and IV objectives and the SBCs expiring on Monday, 25 July at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

Use our Summer Swaps Token Tracker to ensure you've got as many tokens as possible, then redeem your swaps for the best reward combinations possible.

Tuesday

Weekend League rewards are available at 3am ET / 8am BST if you did not complete all your matches after the window was extended due to an error in start time.

Shapeshifters cards are included in the player picks and packs now, as well as the usual Team of the Season options.

Today is your last chance to bring in the Silver Stars objective player, which is FUTTIES Marcos Junior.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, as free players should never be sniffed at.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 36 was the last TOTW release of this season, so we will have to wait until FIFA 23 to see the regular in-forms release return.

A new Silver Stars card will be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 28 July.

Division Rivals rewards will continue to include Team of the Season and 83+ OVR TOTW players from the whole season in the player pick pool if you finish Elite, due to TOTW no longer coming out.

Aside from that, it will be a quiet day for new content, so get all the objectives players completed, and qualify for FUT Champions if you plan to enter.

Friday

Weekend League will kick off at 3am ET / 8am BST and last until Monday, 1 August at 3am ET / 8am BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

The FUTTIES 'Best Of' Batch 2 is staying in packs for a further week, so we don't expect to see any new cards coming to packs at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

However, we should still see more SBC and objectives content for FUTTIES, probably including another Dynamic Duo and FUTTIES player objectives sets.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Other than that, player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will continue to be available as Squad Battle rewards but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.

Live SBCs

Worth completing:

  • Gareth Bale - One of the best cards in the game for a lot cheaper than you would expect if he were on the transfer market
  • Rafinha - A top card with brilliant links
  • Federico Chiesa - If you've missed out on other great Serie A wingers then bring this one in while you can
  • Alexandre Pato - Very cheap, awesome to use in-game, and will help you out in the FUTTIES Brazil Cup
