FIFA 22 TOTW 1: Full squad REVEALED with Featured TOTW on the cards

The very first Team of the Week (TOTW) of FUT 22 has been revealed!

Alongside this, the FIFA 22 EA Play Trial has just gone live too.

EA has just revealed the first-ever TOTW for FIFA 22.

Mohamed Salah (OVR 90) and Joshua Kimmich (OVR 90) are the main attractions, with an awesome looking Ismaila Sarr (OVR 82) card in there too!

Unfortunately, Erling Haaland misses out despite scoring a brace for Dortmund at the weekend.

As distinguished by the star icon above the overall rating on the TOTW item, Ivan Toney has received a Featured TOTW card.

ALL NEW - Here's an example of a Featured TOTW Item compared to a standard TOTW boost

Instead of a standard TOTW boost, Featured TOTW Items will be given a larger boost, increasing their appeal in squad building.

In addition, any future performance-based items these players earn will build off of this boosted rating.

It is important to note that Featured TOTW items will still function as regular TOTW items do across various aspects of FUT including in SBCs, Squad Requirements, Mode Rewards, Objective Requirements and packs.

Providing you are an EA Play subscriber, you can head to your relevant store (depending on the console) and download the trial right now.

We now also have confirmation that the early access period will last for 10 hours.

Release Date

The first TOTW squad in FIFA 22 will be released on Wednesday, 22 September at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

The new cards will be available in packs for one week only from when they are released, and there could be some great cards included.

Dynamic Cards

Ones to Watch are back for another season, and although they won’t be released until Friday, 1 October, they will still be updated if they feature in TOTW 1.

So far only eight players have been confirmed for the promotional event and we don’t think any of them will feature this week.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are two of the confirmed stars, and they are sure to be selected at some point in the season.

An exclusive OTW SBC will be available during Early Access, so they could be the first to receive the upgrade if they are selected.
