The Team of the Year (TOTY) promo is still going strong in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, but leaks for the next FUT promo are coming thick and fast.
The FUT 22 Future Stars campaign has now been officially confirmed and it looks like a certain Arsenal defender will be handed an awesome Player Pick SBC soon.
Future Stars Tomiyasu SBC coming soon
According to the ever-reliable FUT Sheriff, a Future Stars Takehiro Tomiyasu Player Pick SBC will be released in Ultimate Team very soon!
From what we understand, this SBC will be separate from the Future Stars Token Swaps system.
The versatile Japanese defender has been absolutely exceptional for Arsenal since the Gunners signed him in the Summer of 2021 for under £20 million.
Tomiyasu has made the right-back position his own, providing real defensive stability whilst supporting the attack with calmness and precision.
The 22-year-old does the basics at a world-class level at such a young age and it looks like he will be rewarded with an awesome Future Stars card in FIFA 22... or should we say cards.
Future Stars Takehiro Tomiyasu (OVR 86)
The Japan international will reportedly be handed a Future Stars Player Pick SBC, meaning you will be able to choose between two different versions in FIFA 22.
We expect the Player Pick to include a right-back version and a centre-back version with slightly differing stats, given the defender can play in both positions in real life.
We haven't seen any leaked stats as of yet, but we have a rough idea of what the young Gunner's card might look like.
Tomiyasu's right-back version will no doubt have better pace, dribbling and passing stats than the centre-back card, with his pace expected to be in the 90s.
However, we feel that the Japanese defender's centre-half card could be the better choice as he will likely still have great pace along with brilliant defending and physicality stats.
Tomiyasu's centre-back will also link to Kieran Tierney's 86 OVR Winter Wildcard left-back card.
Release Date
The Future Stars promo is now confirmed to be arriving on Friday, 4 February.
The Future Stars Team 1 cards will be released into packs at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on the day of release, so set your watches for then.
So, we can expect to see the Tomiyasu Player Pick SBC arrive at some point between Friday, 4 February and Friday, 11 February.
