FIFA 22: Leaked St. Patrick's Day Squad Foundations objectives COMING SOON

We're currently in the middle of the FUT Birthday celebrations in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and there is another annual event set to bring even more content to the party.

St. Patrick's Day Squad Foundations are set to return to FUT 22, with new objectives released to gain some boosted players from the Republic of Ireland.

It's a fun little event, which can bring some hidden gems into your club.

The Irish are coming

St. Patrick's Day has been celebrated in FUT for a number of years, so it is no surprise to see another objective set being released this year.

FUTZone was the one to leak that St. Patrick's Day Squad Foundations would be coming "next week", we assume from some insider information, although it could just be an assumption.

Release Date

St. Patrick's Day lands on Thursday, 17 March, and in the past objectives have been released on the day.

So keep an eye out at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, when the new challenges are likely to be added to the game.

It's likely that the objectives will be found under Milestones, with no expiry date on the set.

Last year three Republic of Ireland players were made available to unlock via objectives.

Given massive boosts to their stats, the Irishmen involved were Daryl Hogan (84 OVR), Jeff Hendrick (85 OVR), and Aaron Connolly (86 OVR).

We expect to see three players released again this year through objectives, with the possibility that another may come as an SBC.

The current Silver Stars objective player is Andrew Omobamidele, who just so happens to be Irish, so it looks like EA is already helping you prepare a team for the new Squad Foundations.

Squad Foundations Objectives

Last year there were four objectives to complete, two of which gave a Squad Foundation player reward, with the third player issued when the full set was completed.

• Score 10 goals using Republic of Ireland players in the FUT Live Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece, with 4 Republic of Ireland players in your starting squad.

Irish Instinct

• Assist 6 goals with Through Balls using Republic of Ireland players in the FUT Live Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece, with 4 Republic of Ireland players in your starting squad.

Reward - 1 x 75+ Rated Rare Player

Paddy's Day Play

• Play 14 matches in the FUT Live Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece, with 4 Republic of Ireland players in your starting squad.

Reward - Squad Foundations Jeff Hendrick

Green Glory

• Win 8 matches in the FUT Live Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece, with 4 Republic of Ireland players in your starting squad.

Reward - 1 x 75+ Rated Rare Player
