FIFA 22 Shapeshifters: Premier League stars DOMINATE Team 1 mini-release

The Team of the Season event is over in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the Shapeshifters promo now in full swing.

Some of the world's best players have been included in the promo so far, including PSG superstar Lionel Messi!

Each player included in the promo has seen a change to their regular position, with some even having their preferred foot altered too!

Shapeshifters

Upon release, EA announced the following on their website:

Some of the biggest names in football come to FUT 22 as you’ve never seen them before. Shapeshifters bring a new dimension of players to FUT 22, with a range of position changes that influence the way you build your squad.
In addition to players released into packs, you’ll be able to unlock additional Shapeshifters for your team throughout the campaign via Squad Building Challenges and Objectives.

Team 1 was released on Friday, 17 June, with a further three players released on Sunday, 19 June which you can see below.

Jack Grealish (OVR 95)

The top pick from the Shapeshifters mini-release is Man City's Jack Grealish who has received a brilliant new 95 OVR item.

Grealish is now left-footed (for whatever reason), although he still has a four-star weak foot.

Five-star skill moves, 95 Pace, and 97 Dribbling makes Grealish's new item one to look out for in packs as it is valued at a little under half a million coins.

Andrew Robertson (OVR 94)

It will be strange seeing Liverpool's Andrew Robertson, not at left-back, but his new CDM Shapeshifter card looks insane.

A huge 94 OVR makes Robertson the second-highest rated CDM in the Premier League, behind N'Golo Kante's Team of the Year item.

Robertson currently costs well over 200k on all FUT markets, but he looks great value for money.

Everton (OVR 91)

EA has really gone big on the Portuguese league this season, and Benfica's Brazilian star Everton has been included in yet another promo!

A change to ST and blistering pace makes Everton an exciting new card, especially when you consider he boasts five-star skill moves.

Costing less than 50k on both PlayStation and Xbox, Everton could prove to be a devastating super sub.
