The cards involved can receive upgrades, and some of them are guaranteed to improve now that they have qualified for the knockout stages.
With just one matchday to go in Europe's competitions, some of the RTTK cards are going to be awesome.

Not quite the same as the Road to the Final cards we have seen in the past, these cards are limited to a maximum of just two upgrades.
With three of the four matches done and dusted, several clubs have already reached the three wins and first upgrade!
Winning three games puts you in a strong position to qualify for the knockouts too, with seven Road to the Knockout players guaranteed two upgrades already.
Leroy Sane and Timo Werner will be two of the top players in this category, although Andrew Robertson will extend his stay as FUT 22's top left-back.

Down and Out
Unfortunately for some players, they can neither qualify for the knockouts nor reach three wins, meaning they have no chance of an upgrade.
There are four clubs in this position, with Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus the highest-rated player so far to not receive an upgrade.
Fellow Bundesliga star Nordi Mukiele is also out of the running for an upgrade as RB Leipzig have won just one of their last three Champions League matches.

With one matchday to go there are 12 clubs that have won two of their three games, leaving them just one win away from an upgrade.
Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong is the highest-rated player to be one away, but the Catalan giants face German champions Bayern Munich is a must-win game.
In the Europa League, Filip Kostic can claim a double upgrade with a win in Eintracht Frankfurt's final game.
