October’s Ligue 1 Player of the Month has been announced, with Olympique Lyonnais' Brazilian superstar Lucas Paqueta claiming the award and receiving a brand-new 86-rated SBC card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Paqueta was on fire throughout October, providing two assists with an overall pass accuracy of 75%.

SBC Requirements

You will need to submit three squads to unlock Lucas Paqueta's awesome new Player of the Month card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and you have four weeks to complete the challenge.

Worth it?

Lucas Paqueta's Ligue 1 Player of the Month SBC card is coming in at around 130,000 coins on PlayStation, 145,000 coins on Xbox and 140,000 coins on PC.

As a striker, which is POTM Paqueta's position, this is was overpriced, however, this card should definitely be used in midfield!

We definitely recommend using a Shadow chemistry style on Paqueta, which takes his defending up to 83, with 88 standing tackle and 83 slide tackle, whilst also boosting his pace by +10.

If you apply a Catalyst chemistry style, the Brazilian's pace is boosted to 89, with his passing boosted to 91.

Either of these chemistry styles makes Lucas Paqueta a great box-to-box midfielder in Ultimate Team, and he strong links to Neymar too!

So, if Paqueta fits nicely into your squad, then he is most definitely a good option in the midfield and can be completed with your untradable cards too.

However, we wouldn't recommend going out of your way to build your squad around this card, with other players offering better value, like the POTM Nkunku SBC.
