Latest - Winner Leaked

There is no official confirmation from EA yet, but it looks like Karim Benzema will pick up the Player of the Month award for April.

The striker has been phenomenal all season, and this release would be his eighth special card in FUT 22.

It will no doubt be joined by a ninth one, when the La Liga TOTS is released on Friday, 20 May.

Once again, it seems like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang didn't do quite enough to pick up the award.

Release Date

EA released the official La Liga Player of the Month nominees on Wednesday, 27 April.

The SBC for March’s Player of the Month Joao Felix does not expire until Friday, 8 May, so we could see some crossover in early May.

The nominees are:

Karim Benzema

Real Madrid has won four from four so far in April, with their talisman Karim Benzema leading the way with three goals.

Benzema has won the captain's armband twice in the month, scoring in both appearances and leading his side to victory.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Just the two goals in April is a relatively quiet month for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang since his January move to Barcelona.

The Gabonese striker now nine goals in La Liga this season, but we can't see his April return being enough to win Player of the Month.

Jose Morales

A clear favourite for April Player of the Month, Levante skipper Jose Morales has scored at least once in each of his appearances.

Five goals and three assists in just four matches will surely be enough to see the 34-year-old take him this individual accolade.

Ante Budimir

Croatian striker Ante Budimir has hit a purple patch in recent weeks, scoring in five consecutive matches for Osasuna.

A goal in each of his appearances in April mean Budimir is certainly in with a shout of earning the Player of the Month award.

Borja Mayoral

Borja Mayoral's three goals this month has helped Getafe pull clear of the relegation zone, easing any fears of a late-season panic!

The Spaniard scored in wins against Mallorca and Celta Vigo to help earn his side six points from their four matches in April.

Vedat Muriqi

Like Mayoral, Vedat Muqiri is also doing his best to pull his team clear from danger at the foot of the table, although Mallorca's task looks much more challenging.

Muriqi scored in wins over Atletico Madrid and Alaves, but his side still find themselves just two points clear of the drop zone.

Johan Mojica

Elche left-back Johan Mojica has been terrific in April, helping his side keep two clean sheets while also contributing in attack too.

With a goal and an assist to his name, the pacey Colombian is in with an outside chance of claiming the award.
