FIFA 22: How do Future Stars Dual Potential cards work in Ultimate Team?

The Future Stars campaign is set to kick off VERY soon in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the Team of the Year (TOTY) promo now coming to an end.

We now have confirmation that the special 'Dual Potential' player items will be returning for this year's promo too.

Dual Potential cards

The 'Dual Potential' cards that were introduced during FIFA 21's promo will be returning this year, according to FUT Sheriff.

As stated in the Tweet, Dual Potential players will be handed two different cards.

These cards will have different stats depending on the position change that they are given.

The Future Stars Dual Potential cards will only be given to players who are aged 23 or younger and are able to play in multiple positions.

These Future Stars cards will represent players at the expected pinnacle of their careers, rather than right now.

Release Date

The Future Stars promo is now confirmed to be arriving on Friday, 4 February.

The Future Stars Team 1 cards will be released into packs at approximately 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on the day of release, so set your watches for then.

According to FUT Sheriff, the first version of the Dual Potential cards will arrive on Sunday, 6 February with the second version arriving on the following Sunday, 13 February.
