October’s Serie A Player of the Month has been announced, with Argentine striker Giovanni Simeone claiming the award and receiving a brand-new 87-rated SBC card in FIFA 22.

Simeone was unstoppable for club side Hellas Verona last month, scoring a whopping seven goals and in just five league matches.

Take a look at his new card and how to unlock it in Ultimate Team below.

Player of the Month

Seven goals in just five games. You can't really argue with Giovanni Simeone winning October's Player of the Month award.

This is the second Serie A Player of the Month award we have seen in FUT 22, following on from the epic Kalidou Koulibaly card we saw released last month.

Simeone also bagged himself a spot in Team of the Week 6, earning that week's 'Featured Player' card with an 84 OVR.

Simeone scored all four goals in that game against Lazio, and followed it up with a brace against Juventus later in the month.

Just look at those 99 Jumping and 99 Heading Accuracy stats! Giovanni Simeone's new card is the best you will find in the air, and looks like a real nightmare to play against.

FUTBIN has him down as an 89-rated striker which is actually two higher than what it says on his card, so it looks like he will play better in-game than EA is saying.

Either way, a striker this good for less than 40k is a bargain.
