Extra Team of the Season items will always be welcome, although the compensation does seem generous to say the least!

What went wrong?

On Tuesday, 14 June, EA released the EFIGS TOTS Upgrade SBC, offering players the chance to add three Team of the Season items to their club.

The items would come from the five major leagues in FUT 22, making this a very tempting challenge to complete.

The SBC is also repeatable, allowing players to complete the challenge three times, therefore earning three new TOTS items.

However, the SBC was swiftly removed and FIFA Direct Communication released the following statement:

"The EFIGS TOTS Upgrade SBC has been temporarily removed while we investigate reports of issues with its reward pack. Players who already completed the SBC will receive corrected rewards in the near future."

While it remains unclear what the exact issue was, EA has since announced that the problem has been fixed.

Many players had already completed the challenge three times before it was taken down, meaning they had three sets of improper rewards.

Three Team of the Season items is hardly bad rewards, however, the error has led to EA stating that "players who already completed the SBC will receive corrected rewards in the near future."

This is likely to mean that some players will receive an extra Team of the Season item for every challenge they completed!

Effectively, this is a buy one get one free situation, but with high-value Team of the Season players.

With the SBC costing around 65k to complete, this is an absolute bargain for many players out there.

If you did not manage to complete the challenge before it was taken down, then that's just bad luck!
