FIFA 22 eSoccer Aid: Celebrities and stars set to do battle once more


It's that time of year again as England and the Soccer Aid World XI are set to go head-to-head once more for eSoccer Aid.

Pro FIFA players, football stars, and celebrities will compete on EA Sports' FIFA 22, with proceeds going to UNICEF.

EA Sports has already donated $250,000, and donations can be made here.

What is eSoccer Aid?

eSoccer Aid is back for its second year but if you aren't sure what it's all about, then check out what the organisers have said about the event.

"eSoccer Aid will see two teams of celebrities, athletes, creators, and gamers go head to head as England v the Soccer Aid World XI FC.
"In addition to an amazing donation from EA SPORTS of $250,000, viewers will be able to donate to UNICEF via Tiltify online fundraising.
"The ambition is to host a physical eSoccer Aid for UNICEF in the coming years in order to reach new supporters and continue to diverse the Soccer Aid for UNICEF brand."

How to watch?

You can watch eSoccer Aid 2021 on Twitch Rivals with a live broadcast following all the action, and you can watch it live below too.

eSoccer Aid kicks off at 4 pm BST on Thursday, 30 September, with the games finishing at 7:30 pm.

Who is playing?

There are loads of big names involved this season, with Soccer Aid legend Olly Murs representing the England team alongside footballers Jack Wilshere, Chloe Kelly, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Roman Kemp and James Arthur are joined by Liverpool forward Diogo Jota in the Soccer Aid World XI, and the Portuguese footballer has some pedigree when it comes to FIFA!

Jota has already announced himself in FIFA 22, ranking among the top players in the world in the Ultimate Team mode 'Squad Battles'.

All the stars will be joined by streamers and professional gamers too, so the competition will be fierce this time around.

Soccer Aid will also be present in the new FIFA 22 game, with the Soccer Aid World XI once again.

The Soccer Aid World XI is not the only content part of this year's game either, with an exclusive David Beckham/Soccer Aid kit (designed by Reuban Dangoor) available to players who tune in to the broadcast.

25 physical versions of the shirt have also been produced and will be available on the StockX platform, with proceeds going to UNICEF.
